Danger! Excessive sound

entertainment. Do not use the product
for any other purpose than described in

•Before connecting the product to a sock-

•Only use the provided adaptor.
•The adaptor power plug is used as the
disconnect device; the disconnect de-
vice shall remain readily operable. To
completely disconnect the power input,
disconnect the adaptor power plug.
•The product may not function properly or
not react to the operation of any control
due to electrostatic discharge. Switch o
and disconnect the appliance; reconnect
after a few seconds.
•Protect the supply cord from being
walked on or pinched particularly at the
plug, convenience receptacles and the
point where it exits from the product.
•Disconnect the adaptor power plug in
case of faults during use, during lighten-
ing storms, before cleaning and when
not using the product for a longer period
of time.
•Danger! Before cleaning, switch the
product o and disconnect the adaptor
power plug from the socket.
•When the product has reached the end
of its service life, make it defective by dis-
connecting the adaptor power plug from
the socket and cutting the cord in two.

Intended Use
This product is intended for audio playback
via Bluetooth
®
, DAB-Radio, FM-Radio,
Audio input (AUX IN) or head phone. Any
other use may result in damage to product
or injuries. This product is designed for
household use only and not intended for
commercial use.
The Imtron GmbH assumes no liability for
damage to the product, for property dam-
age or for personal injury due to careless or
improper usage of the product, or usage of
product which does not meet the manu-
facturer’s specified purpose.

Power supply
Connect the DC connector of the adaptor
to the DC IN-jack. Plug the adaptor to a
power socket.
Connections
AUX-IN
This radio allows you to listen to external
audio devices.
1. Connect a cable (not included) to the
AUX-IN jack (3.5 mm) at the back of
the radio.
2. Press Mode to select AUX.
3. Start playback from the device.
Attention
Before connecting an external playback
device, carefully read the respective user
guide and safety instructions as well as
instructions concerning usage with other
devices.
HEADPHONE CONNECTION
Connect the headphones to the Head-
phone jack of the device.
Attention
Danger! Excessive sound pressure levels
from ear buds and headphones can cause
hearing damage. Listening to loud music
for extended periods of time may lead to
hearing impairment. Keep the volume at
reasonable levels.
USB connection
Charging external devices
External devices can be charged via USB
with this speaker. Connect the device to
the USB port (output: 5 V/ 1000 mA)
Note: USB music data playback is not
possible.
Operation
ADJUSTING THE ANTENNA
For optimal reception, extend the antenna,
move to fully extend and adjust it.
TURNING THE UNIT ON
Press the power/standby button to turn the
unit on.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
The volume can be adjusted during play-
back with the volume control.

DAB RADIO
When the radio is switched on for the first
time, it will automatically do a full scan of
DAB/DAB+ stations. The list of stations is
then stored, eliminating the need for an-
other full scan when the radio is turned on
next time.
When the scan is complete, the stations
are stored in alphabetical order. The first
available station will be played back.
Note
If there is no DAB reception at any time,
change the position of the unit or adjust
the antenna. Press Scan to start a new
search.
CHANGING DAB/DAB+ STATIONS
1. Press TUN/CH in DAB mode to navi-
gate available DAB/DAB+ stations.
2. To confirm, press the turning knob
VOLUME/SELECT.
STORING DAB STATIONS
Press and hold the button MENU/INFO
in DAB mode until “Full scan” appears on
the display. Press VOLUME/SELECT to
confirm.
The unit scans all available DAB/DAB+ sta-
tions and plays the first available station.
Note
New stations and services are added to
the stored DAB/DAB+ stations. In order
to make new DAB/DAB+ stations and ser-
vices available on your radio, run a full scan
at regular intervals.
DISPLAYING STATION INFORMATION
1. Select a DAB station.
2. During DAB/DAB+ radio playback,
press INFO repeatedly to display the
following information (if available):
•Ensemble
•Frequency
•Signal frequency error
•Audio state and bit rate
•Time
•Date
•Radio text
•Signal strength
•Programme type
STORING DAB STATIONS
You can store up to 10 preset DAB/DAB+
stations.
1. Select the desired station.
2. Press and hold PRESET until “Save to
P#” flashes on display.
3. Press TUN/CH to preset a number
from 1 -10. Press VOLUME/SELECT
to confirm the selection.
4. The preset number of the stored sta-
tion is displayed.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to store more
DAB/DAB+ stations.
SELECTING PRESET DAB STATIONS
1. Press MODE to select the DAB/DAB+
mode.
2. Press PRESET to access the Preset
menu.
3. Use TUN/CH to select a preset num-
ber and confirm your selection by
pressing VOLUME/SELECT.

USING THE DAB/DAB+ MENUS
In DAB mode press MENU/INFO until dis-
play shows [Full scan] and use TUN/CH to
browse the menu options. To confirm your
selection press VOLUME/SELECT every
time.
•[Full scan]
Searches for all available DAB/DAB+
stations.
•[Manual tune]
Manual tuning adjustment, for example
aligning the antenna or adding stations.
•[Prune]
Removes all invalid stations from the
station list.
•[System]
PRUNE
Deleting inactive DAB stations
1. Press TUN/CH until <Prune> appears
and confirm with VOLUME/SELECT.
2. Select <Yes> with TUN/CH and con-
firm with VOLUME/SELECT.
FM radio
SELECTING FM STATIONS
1. Press MODE to select FM stations.
2. The radio plays the last station se-
lected.
SELECTING FM STATION FREQUENCIES
1. Select a FM station.
2. Manual frequency selection.
Press TUN/CH to change the
frequency at intervals of 0.05 MHz.
3. Automatic frequency selection.
Press VOLUME/SELECT and the ra-
dio will stop searching once an active
station has been found.
STORING FM STATIONS
You can store up to 10 preset FM stations.
1. Select the desired FM station.
2. Press and hold PRESET until “Save to
P#” flashes on display.
3. Press TUN/CH to preset a number
from 1 -10. Press VOLUME/SELECT
to confirm the selection.
4. The preset number of the stored
station is displayed.

1. Press MODE to select FM stations.
2. Press PRESET to access the Preset
menu.
3. Use TUN/CH to select a preset num-
ber and confirm your selection by
pressing VOLUME/SELECT.

USING THE FM MENU
1. Press MENU/INFO in FM mode and
select a menu option with TUN/CH:
•[Scan setting]

2. Confirm selection with VOLUME/SE-
LECT.
SCAN SETTING
1. Press and hold MENU/INFO in FM
mode and select with TUN/CH [Scan
setting].
2. Press VOLUME/SELECT to confirm
the selection.
•[Strong stations only]
Scans for stations with strong signals
•[All stations]
Scans all available stations
3. Select a menu option with TUN/CH
and confirm with VOLUME/SELECT.

Selecting mono or stereo mode.
1. Press and hold MENU/INFO in FM
mode and select with TUN/CH [Audio
setting].
2. Select a menu option with TUN/CH
and confirm with VOLUME/SELECT.

General settings
Press and hold MENU/INFO in any mode
and select [System] with TUN/CH. Confirm
selection with VOLUME/SELECT.

1. Select menu option [Time] with TUN/CH
and confirm with VOLUME/SELECT.
2. Use TUN/CH to select the desired
sub-menu:
•Set 12/24 hour: Choice of 12 or 24
hour format
•Set Time/Date: manual time and
date setting
•Auto update: Choice of DAB Update
or No Update
•Set date format: Choice of DD-MM-
YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY

SETTING THE SLEEP-TIMER
After a pre-selected amount of time, this
unit can automatically change to standby
mode.
1. Select menu option [Sleep] with TUN/
CH and confirm with VOLUME/SE-
LECT.
2. Use TUN/CH to select the desired op-
tions:
•[Sleep O]
•[10 minutes]
•[20 minutes]
•[30 minutes]
•[60 minutes]
•[70 minutes]
•[80 minutes]
•[90 minutes]
FACTORY SETTINGS
Select menu option [Factory reset] with
TUN/CH and confirm with VOLUME/SE-
LECT.
DISPLAYING THE SOFTWARE VERSION
Select menu option [Factory reset] with
TUN/CH and confirm with VOLUME/SE-
LECT.
SETTING THE ALARM TIME
Make sure the clock shows the correct
time.
1. Press ALARM button to choose fol-
lowing options:
•[Alarm 1 Setup]
•[Alarm 2 Setup]
2. Press VOLUME/SELECT to access
the Alarm Wizard.
3. On time: Set the hours and minutes
with TUN/CH and confirm with VOL-
UME/SELECT.
4. Set the alarm duration [Duration] with
TUN/CH and confirm with VOLUME/
SELECT.
•[15 mins]
The alarm sounds for 15 minutes.
•[30 mins]
The alarm sounds for 30 minutes.
•[45 mins]
The alarm sounds for 45 minutes.
•[60 mins]
The alarm sounds for 60 minutes.

5. Select the alarm tone [Source] with
TUN/CH and confirm VOLUME/SE-
LECT.
•[Buzzer]: Make the buzzer your
alarm tone.
•[DAB]: Make the most recent DAB +
station played your alarm tone.
•[FM]: Make the most recent FM
station played your alarm tone.

6. Set alarm schedule with TUN/CH and
confirm with VOLUME/SELECT.
•[Daily] The alarm is activated every
day.
•[Weekends] The alarm is activated
on Saturdays and Sundays.
•[Weekdays] The alarm is activated
from Monday to Friday.
•[Once][xx-xxxxxx] (Date to be de-
termined) The alarm is activated only
once. The date must be set.
Note
If [DAB] or [FM] is selected, [last listened]
will be displayed. Press VOLUME/
SELECT to confirm.
7. The volume bar will be displayed. Ad-
just the volume with TUN/CH and con-
firm with VOLUME/SELECT.
8. Switch on/o the alarm [Alarm on/
Alarm o] with TUN/CH and confirm
with VOLUME/SELECT.
9. The alarm settings are stored and
[alarm saved] is displayed.
ACTIVATING OR DEACTIVATING THE
ALARM TIMER
1. Press ALARM in standby mode to
show the alarm state.
2. Press repeatedly ALARM, to select fol-
lowing options:
•Alarm1: O / Alarm2: O

When the alarm sounds, press DIMMER/
SNOOZE to select the slumber function

speaker for an external device (e.g. mobile
phone or MP3 player). The signal is trans-
mitted wirelessly via Bluetooth

Before playback, you must pair the radio
(in this case the Bluetooth

receiver) and
the device (transmitter).
Compatibility
This product is compatible with Bluetooth

enabled mobile phones and music devic-
es. It features Bluetooth

version 2.1+EDR.
It also works with devices featuring other
Bluetooth

versions that support e.g.

•Keep the range of 8 meters when pairing.

Pairing
1. Press the MODE button until

AUX IN
This mode allows you to use the radio as a
speaker for an external device (e.g. mobile
phone or MP3 player).
Warning! Observe the relevant safety in-
formation for use with other devices when
connecting an external device.
1. Connect the cinch plug (3.5 mm) of
the audio cable with the audio play-
back device and the other cinch plug
(3.5 mm) into the AUX IN-jack of the
speaker.
2. Press the MODE button until <Auxilia-
ry Input> appears on the display. The
product is in AUX IN mode.
3. Turn on the audio playback device and
start the music playback.
4. You can adjust the volume with VOL-
UME/SELECT.
