Changing the language ("Language")•

until the backlighting automatically switches off.
Recording settings ("Record")•
Recording quality: Under the "r
e C o r d q u A l i t y " menu item, you can set the quality
of the recordings made with the microphone.
Pause detection: Here you can set whether voice pauses should be automatically
recognized during voice recordings and whether the recording should be paused
during these times.
Auto gain: Under the "A
u t o g A i N " menu item, you can adjust the recording input gain
of the integrated microphone.
System settings ("System")•
Deleting files: Under the "d
e l e t e f i l e s " menu item, you can select files or folders
for deletion via the folder navigation. Briefly press the F button and confirm the
security prompt with "ye s " to delete the file. The folder navigation contains all files
and folders saved on the MP3 player.
Formatting the MP3 player:

ALL the data on the MP3 player will be deleted when you format it.
If you want to format the memory (that is, delete all the files on your MP3 player),
select this menu item and confirm the following security prompt. You have two
possibilities of formatting your MP3 player: quick formatting ("q
u i C k ") and complete
formatting ("Co M p l e t e "). In the case of the quick formatting the file allocation table
(FAT) of the MP3 player is cleared. In the case of complete formatting, the memory is
first checked for defective areas. After that, the file allocation table is also cleared.
Alternatively, you can format your MP3 player using your computer. To do so,
read the corresponding section in these operating instructions.
Loading default settings: Under the "l
o A d d e f A u l t s " menu item, you can restore the
default settings (settings upon delivery) of the MP3 player. The files saved on your
MP3 player will remain during the restoration of the default settings. To load the
default settings, confirm the security prompt with "ye s ".
System information: Under the menu item "s
y s t e M i N f o ", you are provided with
information on the firmware version, as well as the entire memory and free memory
of the MP3 player.
