The Caution Marking is located at the bottom enclosure of the apparatus.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
1. Read these instructions. All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the
appliance is operated.
2. Retain instructions. The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future
reference.
3. Heed all warnings. All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be
adhered to.
4. Follow all instructions. All operating instructions should be followed.
5. Water and moisture. The appliance should not be used near water, for example,
near a
bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a wet basement.
6. Ventilation. The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not
interfere with its proper ventilation. Do not place it on the bed, sofa, rug or similar surfaces
that may block the ventilation openings, in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or
cabinet that may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.
7. Heat. The appliance should be sit
uated away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or

8. Power source. This product should be operated only from the type of power source
indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home,

battery power, or other sources, refer to the operating instruction.
9. Cleaning. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners
or aerosol cleaners. Clean only with dry cloth.
10. Location. Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod,
bracket, or table. The product may fall, causing serious injury to a child
or adult and serious d
amage to the product. Use only with a cart, stand,
tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the manufacturer, or sold
with the product. Any mounting of the product should follow the
manufacturer’s instructions, and should use a mounting accessory
recommended by the manufacturer. A product and cart combination should be moved with
care-quick stops, excessive force and uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart
combination to overturn.
11. Protection. Protect th
e power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.
12. Accessories. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
13. Disconnect. Unplug the appliance during lightning storms or when unused for a long periods
of time.
14. Service department. Refer all servicing to Sytech technical department. Servicing is
required when the appliance has been damaged in any way, such as power
-supply cord or
plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been
dropped.
15. Water. This appliance shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and that no object
filled with liquids such as vases shall be placed on the apparatus.
16. Wall outlet. Do not overload wall outlet. Use only power source as indicated.
17. Parts. Use replacement part as specified b
y the manufacturer.
18. Mounting. The product may be mounted to a wall only if recommended by the manufacturer.
19. Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to
perform safety checks.
20. Object and Liquid Entry. Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings
as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or
electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.
21. Damage Requiring Service. Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to
qualified service personnel under the following conditions:
a) When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged,
b) If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the product,
c) If the product has been exposed to rain or water,
d) If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust
only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions
as an improper
adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work
by a qualified technician to restore the product to its normal operation.
e) If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way

The Seng sequence for waking up by radio are as follow:
Press the MODE buon at any me to return to the Clock Display Mode.
The alarm lasts for 1 hour.
To stop the Alarm, simply press the AL1/ AL2 buon.
The alarm restarts every 9 minutes aer each press of SNOOZE.
To search manually for a radio staon, simply press the SCAN-/SCAN+.
For an automac scan search, press & hold the SCAN-/SCAN+ buon. The unit will automacally
search the next radio staon.
Once the radio staon been selected, press & hold the MEMO buon to enter the Preset Radio
Staon mode. Then, press the SCAN-/SCAN+ to select the desired preset staon number. Press
the MEMO buon once more to confirm the selecon. Now your favorite stao is stored in the
selected preset number.
In Radio Mode, press the MEMO buon to select the desired preset radio staon. Press the
MEMO buon once more to advance to the next preset staon.
SNOOZE/LIGHT FUNCTION
During the wakeup press the SNOOZE/LIGHT bu on once to temporarily turn o the alarm.

LIGHT bu
on is pressed again. Alarm max last for 1 hour
Note:
When pressing the SNOOZE / LIGHT bu on, the panel backlight will turn on, and will turn o

PROJECTOR
Press and hold the SNOOZE/LIGHT buon for the backlight to always be ON. Press and hold once
more for the backlight to return to its normal status.
If you wish to hear the radio for a certain me before going to sleep, press the “MODE” buon to
switch to the radio mode. Search the desired channel by pressing the SCAN+ or SCAN- buon. At
this moment, press the SLEEP buon and the display will show 90 min. Press the SLEEP buon unl
you have set the desired me for the unit to off. The opons for the SLEEP funcon are as follow:
90, 60, 30, 15, Off. Once the selected me has elapsed, the radio will automacally shut down.
BRIGHT OR DIM SET
The negave display of the SY-1033 is perfect for the night as it does not reflect the numbers.
To increase the luminosity of the display, press the LIGHT buon for the display to brighten up.
Aer approximately 1 minute, the display will return to the original dim light.
TIME MEMORY SET
The SY-1033 includes a baery backup feature in case of power failure. Plug in the radio clock to
the mains output. Adjust al the parameters such as the year, month, date and me. Open the baery
compartment located at the boom of the unit and insert 1 x CR2032 baery in the correct posion
(included). In the case of any cut off power, the SY-1033 will retain the actual me and date unl the
main power comes back.
