IMPORTANT
Installer and Users please note:
These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product for future reference.
Before use please inspect the product for any signs of damage. If the product is damaged, DO NOT use
it, and contact your supplier immediately.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the aquarium on a clean, level surface.
2. If are powering the aquarium with batteries you should insert them now, BEFORE filling the aquarium
with water. Turn the aquarium over and release the battery cover by pushing the tab down (A). Insert
3 x AA batteries into the compartment making sure to observe the correct polarity.
3. Fill the transparent water tank with fresh, clean water, leaving at least 1 inch between the surface of
the water and the top of the tank.
4. If you are not using batteries then connect the included USB lead to a spare USB port on your
computer. If you want to power the aquarium via a USB adaptor please ensure the adaptor has
a minimum output of 1A.
5. Connect the other end of the power lead to the power input socket on the side of the aquarium (D).
6. Move switch B to the on position (I), this will switch the LED desk lamp on.
7. Move switch C to the on position (I), this will switch the water pump on.
We do not recommend you place live fish in the water tank unless professional advise is sought.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Ensure that the power lead has been removed before cleaning the aquarium and both power switches
(B and C) are set to the off position (o). Ensure that the power socket and the battery compartment are
not immersed in water. Remove the pebbles and plant and rinse under fresh, clean water. The inside of
the tank should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use any chemcial or abrasive cleaners to clean
the tank.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Always keep the aquarium on a clean level surface, out of the reach of children.
• Do not attempt to open the casing of the aquarium, there are no user serviceable parts inside.
• Always unplug the power cord gently to avoid damage.
• Unplug the aquarium and remove batteries if the aquarium will not be in use for a prolonged period.
• If you want to power the aquarium via a USB adaptor please ensure the adaptor has a minimum output
of 1A.
