Denon RC-196 is a system remote control unit which can be used to operate multiple Denon branded audio components (CD players, DAT, tape decks) as well video components (VDP, VCR, TV) from other manufacturers. The remote has the ability to store up to 26 codes allowing the user to control all their home theater devices with one remote. The remote also features a learning function that allows it to be programmed to control other devices that are not included in the preset memory function.
