Connect to the PC and download audio files

The MP3 player is a plug & play device for WIN2000/XP/ME OS. You don’t

need to install the driver. Just connect the player to the PC and download

audio files following these steps:

(1) Remove the USB cover to reveal the USB connector.

(2) Attach the USB connector of the player to the USB port of the PC.

(3) When you open “My Computer”, you see a removable disk which

represents the player. Now you can use the removable disk as a

normal local disk drive, copying audio files from or to the removable

disk.

(4) Remove the player from the PC safely.

For Windows2000/XP or above:

a.Left click the icon at the right hand corner of the taskbar.

b.Click the pop-up mini-window with message of “Stop the USB Mass

Storage Device –Drive (X)”.

c. When you are prompted to remove the device, remove the MP3

player. For Win98, please make sure the data transfer is completed

before unplugging the MP3 player.

Note: For Windows 98/SE, you are required to install a driver before

connection.

Charging Battery

The device has a built-in lithium-icon rechargeable battery. It is charged via

USB connection. You are required to charge it when you use it for the first

time.

To charge the battery, connect the device to computer via the USB port. It

takes about 3 hours to fully charge the battery.

Note: For maximum performance, lithium-ion batteries need to be

used often. If you don’t use the device often, be sure to recharge the

battery at least once per month.

Turn on/Off

Press and hold the key to turn on or off the device.

Main Menu

When you power on the device, you should see the main menu providing

various work mode options – MUSIC, VOICE, RECORD, FM RADIO,

SETUP, FILE BROWSE.

- Press Previous / Next button to select a mode.

- Press the button to confirm selection.

Tip: You can enter the main menu directly by pressing and holding the

MENU button.

 Using the Overlay Menu

When the music is playing, you can briefly press the MENU button to

enter the overlay menu. With the overlay menu, you can set Repeat

Mode, Equalizer Mode etc.

Press the PREVIOUS/NEXT button to select a menu item and press the

button to confirm selection or press the RETURN button to return.

 Folder Navigation

(1) In the music or voice mode, shortly press the MENU button to enter

the overlay menu.

(2) Press the PREVIOUS/NEXT button to select “File Browse”and then

press the button to enter folder navigation mode.

(3) Press the PREVIOUS/NEXT button to select a folder and then press

the button to enter it. To close the current folder, press the

RETURN button.

 A-B Repeat

To repeat specified section of the current track,

(1) Press and hold the VOL+ key during playback to select the start point

of the repeat.

(2) Press the VOL+ key again at the desired point to specify the end point

of the repeat. The section between the start point and the end point

begins to play repeatedly.

(3) Press and hold the VOL+ button to stop A-B repeat.

 Select Repeat Mode

You can switch between the following repeat modes:

Normal –Play all tracks in order and stop after playing all

Repeat One –Keep repeating the current track

Repeat All –Play all tracks in order and repeat

Random All –Play all tracks randomly and stop after playing all

Folder Normal – Play all files in the current folder and stop after

playing all

Folder Repeat All–Repeat all files in the current folder

Folder Random All – Shuffle all files in the current folder and then

repeat

To select the repeat mode:

(1) When the music is playing, briefly press the MENU key to show the

overlay menu.

(2) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select “Repeat Mode”item

and press the button to show the provided options.

(3) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select a desired repeat

mode, and press the button to confirm or press the RETURN

key to cancel and return.

 Select EQ Mode

You can play the tracks in different sound effect. The device provides 6

EQ modes: Normal, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Pop and Bass.

To set the EQ mode:

(1) When the music is playing, briefly press the MENU key to show the

overlay menu.

(2) Select “Equalizer”and press the key to confirm.

(3) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select a desired EQ mode,

and press the key to confirm or press the RETURN key to

cancel and return.

 Set Playing Speed

You can set the playing speed of music.

(1) When the music is playing, briefly press the MENU key to show the

overlay menu.

(2) Select “Play Rate”and press the key to confirm.

(3) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select a rate option, and

press the key to confirm or press the RETURN key to cancel

and return.

 Enable 3D sound effect

The device provides wonderful 3D sound effect to enhance your

enjoyment.

(1) When the music is playing, briefly press the MENU key to show the

overlay menu.

(2) Select “3D”and press the key to confirm.

(3) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select “ON”to enable the

3D effect, or select “No”to disable it.

(4) Press the key to confirm or press the RETURN key to cancel

and return.

 Favorite Playlist

You can select favorite tracks from the device and group them to create a

new playlist. Then you can play the playlist exclusively.

(1) When the music is playing, briefly press the MENU key to show the

overlay menu.

(2) Select “File Browse” and press the key to enter the folder

navigation mode.

(3) Press the PREVIOUS / NEXT button to select your favorite track and

then briefly press the MENU button to display the “Add to List”and

“Delete”menu item.

(4) Select “Add to List”and then press the key to confirm. The

selected files should be added to your favorite playlist.

(5) Play your favorite tracks.

a)Briefly press the MENU key to show the overlay menu when the

music is playing.

b)Select “Playlist”and press the key to enter the playlist.

c)Select “My List”and then press the key to continue.

d)Select the track that you want to play from the playlist and then

press the key to start playing.

You can delete track from the playlist or delete the whole list by the

following steps:

(1) In the playlist, press the PREVIOUS/NEXT button to select the track

that you want to delete.

(2) Briefly press the MENU button to display the menu. Select “Delete”

to delete the track or select “Del List”to delete the list.

(3) Press the PREVIOUS/NEXT button Select “Yes”to confirm deletion,

or “No”to cancel deletion.

 Delete Track

You can delete a track following these steps:

(1) When the music is playing, briefly press the MENU key to show the

overlay menu.

(2) Select “File Browse” and press the key to enter the folder

navigation mode.

(3) Select the track that you want to delete and then briefly press the

MENU button to display the “Add to List”and “Delete”menu item.

(4) Select “Delete”and then press the button to confirm.

(5) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select “Yes”and press the

button again to confirm.

Voice Recording

 Record

(1) Press and hold the MENU button to enter the main menu.

(2) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select “Record”and then

press to enter the voice recording mode.

(3) Press the button to start recording. During recording, you can

press the key to pause or resume recording.

(4) Press and hold the MENU button to stop and save the recording.

 Play Recordings

(1) Press and hold the MENU button to display the main menu.

(2) Select “VOICE”, and press the button to enter the voice player

mode, search and play the recording file. Recording playing is the

same as music playing. Refer to “Playing Music”section for detail

operations.

(3) Alternatively, you can enter the navigation mode, open the

MICIN.DIR folder and select the voice file that you want play.

FM Radio

On the main menu, select “FM Radio”and press the key to turn on the

FM radio.

 Auto-Search Broadcasting Station

(1) Shortly press the MENU button to show the menu.

(2) Select “Auto Scan”and then press the key to confirm. The radio

automatically searches for stations from 87.5 MHz to 108 MHz. The

received stations will be saved as preset stations automatically.

 Search for Broadcasting Stations Manually

(1) In the “Preset”mode, press the key to switch to “Normal”mode.

(2) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to decrease or increase

frequency by 0.1 MHz.

You can save the found stations manually as presets. (See “Save Station”

section.)

 Listen to Stations

In the “Preset”mode, press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to tune in

saved stations.

Note: If you are in the “Manual”mode, press the key to switch to the

“Preset”mode.

 Save Station

(1) In the “Normal”mode, tune to the station that you want to save.

(2) Press the MENU key shortly to show the submenus.

(3) Select “Save Station”and press the key to confirm.

(4) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to choose a location for the

station, and press the key to confirm.

(5) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to choose “Yes”, and press the

key to confirm.

 Delete Station

(1) In the “Preset”mode, press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select

the station that you want to delete.

(2) Press the MENU key shortly to show the submenus.

(3) Select “Del Station”and press the key to continue.

(4) Press the key to confirm deletion.

(5) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select “Yes”and then press

the button to confirm.

 Record Station

You can record the FM programs broadcasted by the station into WAV file.

(1) When you are listening to the program, briefly press the MENU key to

show the submenu.

(2) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to select “Record”and then

press to start recording.

(3) During recording, you can press the key to pause or resume

recording.

(4) Press and hold the MENU button to stop and save the recording.

To play the FM recording,

(1) Press the MENU button to enter the main menu. Select “Voice”and

press the button to enter the voice mode.

(2) Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to search for the recording file

and then press the button to play.

Alternatively, you can search the recording file in the folder navigation

mode. Enter the folder navigation mode by the “File Browse”option on the

main menu. Open the FMIN.DIR folder, and search the FM recording file

that you want to play.

System Settings

To customize the player settings,

(1) On the main menu, select the “Setting”item and press the key to

enter the system settings mode.

(2) Press the PREVIOUS / NEXT button to select setting item and press

the key to confirm or press the RETURN button to cancel and

return.

Conexión al PC y descarga de archivos de

sonido

El reproductor MP3 es un dispositivo "plug & play”(conectar y usar) para los

sistemas operativos de Windows 2000/XP/ME. No es necesario instalar el

controlador. Conecte simplemente el reproductor al PC y descargue

archivos de sonido siguiendo los pasos que se indican a continuación:

(1) Extraiga la tapa del USB para dejar el conector USB a la vista.

(2) Enchufe el conector USB del reproductor al puerto USB del PC.

(3) Cuando abra “Mi PC”, verá un disco extraíble que hace referencia al

reproductor. Ahora puede usar el disco extraíble como una unidad de

disco local normal y copiar archivos de sonido desde o para el disco

extraíble.

(4) Extraiga el reproductor del PC de modo seguro.

En Windows 2000/XP o superior:

a.Haga clic con el botón izquierdo del ratón sobre el icono , situado

en la esquina derecha de la barra de herramientas.

b.Haga clic en la ventana emergente en la que aparece el mensaje

“Extracción segura de Dispositivo de almacenamiento masivo USB –

Unidad (X)”.

c. Cuando se le indique que extraiga el dispositivo, extraiga el

reproductor MP3. En Win98, asegúrese de que se ha finalizado la

transferencia de datos antes de desconectar el reproductor MP3.

Nota: En Windows 98/SE, es necesario que instale el controlador antes de

la conexión.

Cargar la batería

El dispositivo dispone de una batería recargable de ión de litio incorporada.

Se carga a través de conexión USB. Es necesario cargar la batería cuando

la use por primera vez.

Para cargar la batería, conecte el dispositivo al PC a través del puerto USB.

La batería tarda aproximadamente 3 horas en cargarse completamente.

Nota: Para un rendimiento máximo, las baterías de ión de litio

necesitan usarse con frecuencia. Si no utiliza el dispositivo con

Menú principal

Cuando encienda el dispositivo, debe ver el menú principal que le

proporciona varias opciones de modos de funcionamiento: MUSIC

(MÚSICA), VOICE (VOZ), RECORD (GRABAR), FM RADIO (RADIO FM),

SETUP (CONFIGURACIÓN), FILE BROWSE (EXPLORAR ARCHIVO).

- Pulse el botón Anterior / Siguiente para seleccionar un modo.

- Pulse el botón para confirmar la selección.

Sugerencia: Puede acceder al menúprincipal directamente al mantener

pulsado el botón MENÚ.

Reproducir música

 Usar el menú desplegable

Cuando esté reproduciendo música, puede pulsar brevemente el botón

MENÚ para acceder al menú desplegable. Con el menú desplegable,

puede configurar el modo Repeat (Repetir), Equalizer (Ecualizador), etc.

Pulse el botón ANTERIOR/SIGUIENTE para seleccionar un elemento

del menú y pulse el botón para confirmar la selección o pulse el

botón REGRESAR para regresar.

 Exploración de carpetas

(1) En el modo de música o voz, pulse brevemente el botón MENÚ para

entrar en el menúdesplegable.

(2) Pulse el botón ANTERIOR/SIGUIENTE para seleccionar “File

Browse”(Explorar archivo) y después pulse el botón para entrar

en el modo de exploración de carpetas.

(3) Pulse el botón ANTERIOR/SIGUIENTE para seleccionar una

carpeta y después pulse el botón para acceder a ella. Para

cerrar la carpeta actual, pulse el botón REGRESAR.

 Repetición A-B

Para repetir una parte específica de la pista actual:

(1) Mantenga pulsado el botón VOL+ durante la reproducción para

seleccionar el punto de inicio de la repetición.

(2) Pulse de nuevo el botón VOL+ en el punto deseado para especificar el

punto de finalización de la repetición. La parte comprendida entre el

punto de inicio y el punto de finalización empieza a reproducirse

reiteradamente.

(3) Mantenga pulsado el botón VOL+ para detener el modo de repetición

A-B.

 Seleccionar Repeat mode (Modo de repetición)

Puede alternar entre los diferentes modos de repetición:

Normal –Reproducir todas las pistas por orden y detenerse después

de reproducir todo.

Repeat One (Repetir una) –Repetir reiteradamente la canción actual.

Repeat All (Repetir todo) –Reproducir todas las canciones por orden

y repetirlas.

Random All (Reproducción aleatoria de todo) –Reproducir todas las

pistas aleatoriamente y detenerse después de reproducir todo.

Folder Normal (Normal carpeta) –Reproducir todos los archivos en

la carpeta actual y detenerse después de reproducir todo.

Folder Repeat All (Repetir todo carpeta) –Repetir todos los archivos

de la carpeta actual.

Folder Random All (Reproducción aleatoria todo carpeta) –

Reproducir aleatoriamente todos los archivos en la carpeta actual y

después repetirlos.

Para seleccionar el modo de repetición:

(1) Cuando esté reproduciendo música, pulse brevemente el botón

MENÚ para acceder al menúdesplegable.

(2) Pulse el botón ANTERIOR o SIGUIENTE para seleccionar el

elemento “Repeat mode”(modo de repetición) y después pulse el

botón para mostrar las opciones proporcionadas.

(3) Pulse el botón ANTERIOR o SIGUIENTE para seleccionar el modo

de repetición deseado y pulse el botón para confirmar o pulse el

botón REGRESAR para cancelar y regresar.

 Selección de EQ Mode (Modo de ecualización)

Es posible reproducir las pistas con diferentes efectos de sonido. El

dispositivo proporciona 6 modos de ecualización: Normal, Rock, Jazz,

Classic (Clásica), Pop y Bass (Graves).

Para seleccionar el modo de ecualización:

(1) Cuando esté reproduciendo música, pulse brevemente el botón

MENÚ para acceder al menúdesplegable.

(2) Seleccione “Equalizer”·(Ecualizador) y pulse el botón para

confirmar.

(3) Pulse el botón ANTERIOR o SIGUIENTE para seleccionar el modo

de ecualización deseado y pulse el botón para confirmar o pulse

el botón REGRESAR para cancelar y regresar.

 Configurar la velocidad de reproducción

Es posible configurar la velocidad de reproducción de la música.

(1) Cuando esté reproduciendo música, pulse brevemente el botón

MENÚ para acceder al menúdesplegable.

(2) Seleccione “Play Rate”(Velocidad de reproducción) y pulse el botón

para confirmar.

(3) Pulse el botón ANTERIOR o SIGUIENTE para seleccionar una

opción de velocidad y pulse el botón para confirmar o pulse el

botón REGRESAR para cancelar y regresar.

 Activar el efecto de sonido en 3D

El dispositivo proporciona un maravilloso efecto de sonido en 3D para

mejorar su experiencia musical.

(1) Cuando esté reproduciendo música, pulse brevemente el botón

MENÚ para acceder al menúdesplegable.

(2) Seleccione “3D”y pulse el botón para confirmar.
