TROJAN recommends that all equipment:

Recheck
all bolts and nuts are

STEP 1: UPRIGHT ASSEMBLY
•RaisetheUprightsintotheverticalpositionandthen
secure with two Allen Bolts (57) on each side.
STEP 2: COMPUTER ASSEMBLY
•RotatetheComputerConsolintotheupright
position and secure each side with one Plastic
Knob (4).
•PulltheHandrailsdownintothehorizontalposition
and then secure them with one Allen Bolt (168), one
Flat Washer (94) and one Screw Sleeve (95) each side.
•SecuretheRightandLeftDecorationCovers(190,
189) and the Right and Left Wheel Protecting Covers
(192, 191) with two Screws (193) per cover.

FOLDING
Tofoldawaythetreadmillrunningdeckliftuptherunningboard,withbothhands,intotheverticalposition.Donotlet
gooftherunningdeckuntilyouheartheclipclickintoplace.
UNFOLDING
Ifyouwanttousethetreadmill,holdthetreadmillrunningdeckrmlyinbothhands.Steponthereleaseclipanddonot
lettherunningdeckgountilyoufeelitslowlydroppingtotheground.
Note:Loweringoftherunningdeckcancauseinjuryif
cautionisnottakenwhenloweringthedeck.Pleasekeep
small children away from the treadmill when lowering
thedeck.
TRANSPORT
Place your right foot onto the right base foot tube. With
two hands holding the left and right handgrip tubes, pull
the treadmill toward you.
You can now easily move the treadmill to the desired
position by pushing it on its wheels.
5. UNFOLDING / FOLDING / TRANSPORT
HIGH PRESSURE CYLINDER
The soft drop system is run off a high pressure cylinder.
Pleasebeextracarefulnottoknockordamagethe
cylinder. If the cylinder is damaged it could affect the
smooth operation of the soft drop functionality or
evenpreventupordownmovementofthedeck.
TROJAN CUSHION DECK
Thistreadmillhasabuiltinshockabsorbersystem.Theusercanadjust
thelevelofshockabsorptionbypullingandturningtheshockabsorber
knobandselectingthedesiredshockabsorptionlevel.

HOW TO APPLY LUBRICANT
• Liftonesideoftreadbelt.
• Pouronehalfofthelubricantbottleunderthecentreofthetreadbeltonthetopsurfaceofthetreadboard.
• Walkonthetreadmillataslowspeedfor3to5minutestoevenlydistributelubricant.
NOTE:DONOToverlubricatetreadboard.Anyexcesslubricantthatcomesoutshouldbewipedoff.
NOTE: ONLY USE HALF THE BOTTLE OF LUBRICANT PER APPLICATION.
• NOTE:Ifyourlubricantisnished,thetreadbeltcanbelubricatedwithDubbin.
LUBRICATION SCHEDULE.
• Checkthetreadboardlubricationduringinstallation.Ifit’snecessary,lubricatethetreadboardusingonehalfofthe
lubricant provided, before using the treadmill for the rst time.
• Ifthetreadmillisusedonaregularbasis,therunningdeckshouldbelubricatedonceamonth.
• Ifthetreadmillisnotusedfortwomonthsormore,thetreadboardmustbelubricatedbeforeuse.
6. MAINTENANCE
HOW TO CHECK TREADBELT FOR PROPER
LUBRICATION
•Liftonesideofthetreadbeltandfeelthetopsurfaceofthe
treadboard.
•Ifthesurfaceisslicktothetouch,thennofurtherlubricationis
required.
•Ifthesurfaceisdrytothetouch,applyonepacketoflubricant
or half of the bottle of lubricant.
BELT TRACKING ADJUSTMENT
• Ifduringuseyounoticethattherunningbelteithershiftstotherightortheleftofcentre,switchoffthetreadmill,
remove the “Safety Key” and unplug the equipment from the AC power source.
• Iftherunningbeltshiftsleft,usingAllenKeyprovided,turn
 theleftrearrolleradjustmentclockwisenomorethan1/4”ofaturn
(if the running belt shifts right, adjust the right rear roller).
• RemovetheAllenKey,insertthe“SafetyKey”andinsertthe
AC power cord into the AC outlet. Turn on your treadmill and
observe after running for a few minutes to see if the problem
has been corrected.
• Thismaytakeseveraladjustments,sorepeattheaboveprocedure.
Your treadmill should require little maintenance other than to periodically apply lubricant. Lubricating under the
treadbeltwillensuresuperiorperformanceandextendthetreadmill’slifeexpectancy.

7. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
Thisproductmustbegrounded.Ifamalfunctionorbreakdownoccurs,groundingprovidesapathofleastresistancefor
electriccurrenttoreducetheriskofelectricshock.Thisproductisequippedwithacordhavinganequipment-grounding
conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
DANGER-improperconnectionoftheequipment-groundingconductorcanresultinariskofelectricshock.Checkwith
a qualied electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded. Do not modify
the plug provided with the product - if it will not t the outlet; have a proper outlet installed by a qualied electrician.
Thisproductisforuseonanormal220-240voltcircuitandhasagroundingplugthatlooksliketheplugillustratedin

8. COMPUTER FUNCTIONS
START DISPLAY:
1. After powering on, the window will display PRESS WEIGHT BUTTON TO SET WEIGHT. Press WEIGHT, and the
LCDdisplaystheweightunit.Use+or–tosetweight.Aftersetting,pressENTERandtheLCDdisplaysaheartbeat
picture. The window will now display SELECT PROGRAM OR START.
2. IftheSAFETYKEYisremoved,allwindowswilldisplay----,thematrixwindowwilldisplayanarrowpointingdownwards.
TextinthewindowwillthendisplayPLEASEATTACHSAFTYKEY.Afterreplacingthesafetykey,theWEIGHTwindow
willflash.TheaimofsettingweightistoenablethecomputertocalculatetheCALORIESburnt.Afterstartingtoexercise
Caloriesburntwillbedisplayed.Ifyoustartanewprogram,calorieswillbecountedfromzero,andnotaccumulate.
3. WhentheSAFETYKEYisremoved,thetreadmillwillstoprunning.AtthistimeplacetheSAFETYKEYback,abeeper
willsoundandthenallthevalueswillgobacktothevaluespriortoremovingtheSafetykey.
4. Thetreadmillhasthefollowingoperatingparameters:Speed0.8-20kph,Incline0-12%
II. OPERATION INSTRUCTION :
1. In the Start/Ready position, press MANUAL then START to start running the Manual Program.
2. IntheStart/Readyposition,presstherequiredPROGRAMfunctionkeytobeabletoentertrainingparametersforthe
selected program.
3. “Fan” button switches the fan ON and OFF.
4. When the power is turned off the treadmill will not reposition itself to the flat position in order to prevent injury. You
willneedtopresstheQUICKSTARTkeytobeabletoperformtherepositioning.
5. When the SAFETY KEY is removed and then replaced, the treadmill will not reposition itself to the flat position. You
willneedtopresstheQUICKSTARTkeytobeabletoperformtherepositioning.
6.
In the Start/Ready status, press STOP continuously for 5 seconds, and the treadmill will reposition itself to the flat position.
7. Whilst operating in any program, if you press STOP, the program will stop. If you want to continuously perform in the
selectedprogram,presstheSTARTkeyagain,orsimplypressSTOPtoleavetheprogramandrevertbacktoSTART/
READY status.
III. EDIT MODE :
1. Program Mode : Once in a PROGRAM, switch to LEVEL. The window will display L1~L10 and press +, - to edit.
Press ENTER to enter into TIME edit.
• TheProgrampre-setvalueis20minor30min,Rangeis20~99min,incrementis1.
After editing, press ENTER or START to start the machine. If you press START during the edit, the rest of the un-edited
functionsarepre-set.Duringedit,INCLINEandSPEEDwindowwilldisplaythefirstlevelvalueandtheLCDmatrix
window will display PROGRAM picture.

1. WARM UP and COOL DOWN function:
During WARM UP or any selected Program, if you change SPEED or INCLINATION, the value will increase or
decreaseinthenextlevel.IfyouareinCOOLDOWNthenSPEEDandINCLINATIONisnotaffected,andSTOPis
the only function which can be carried out.
2. PROGRAM has 30 levels in all. The first three levels are WARM UP and the last three are COOL DOWN. Each is 1
minute.Thetimeyouselect,exceptforthethreeWARMUPandCOOLDOWNlevels(6minutes)willbesplitevenly
between the remaining 24 levels.
3. The MANUAL and 9 HOLE programs do not have WARM UP or COOL DOWN functions. When the distance
covered is equal to 3.5KM, the motor will stop, the INCLINE will return to 0 and the display shows END.
IV. PROGRAM OPERATION AND INSTRUCTION :
Manual Mode
1. When you press START, the motor will start after a 3 seconds countdown. The treadmill starts at the minimum speed
of thetreadmilland thematrix LCDwindow willdisplay therunning trackmeasuringthedistancecovered ina
counter-clockwisedirection.Thetrackis0.4KM(0.25Miles).
2. Speedincrementsare0.1km/h.Press+or-keystoincreaseordecreasespeedoralternativelypresstheINSTANT
SPEEDkey1,2,4,6,8,10tomovedirectlytotheselectedspeed.
3. Inclineincrementsare1.Press+or-keystoselectincreaseordecreaseinclineoralternativelypresstheINSTANT
SPEEDkey2,4,6,8,10,12tomovedirectlytotheselectedincline.
4. Time : pre-set 20 min-range5 - 99min , increments 1 min.
5. Duringexercise,ifthereisPULSEsignal,theCALORIESwindowwilldisplaypulse.
6. IfyoupressSTOPwhenthemotorisworking,therunningmotorandtheinclinemotorwillstopandthewindowwill
displaySTOP.IfyoupressSTARTagain,themotorwillstartaftera3secondcountdown,thespeedwillbekeptthe
same as before the stop, and the incline will be increased to the set height before the stop.
7. WhenintheStopposition,holdtheSTOPkeyfor3seconds,andthetreadmillwillgobacktotheSTART/READY

8. IntheENDstatus,ifitlast30seconds,thewindowwillgobacktoSTART/READYstatus.AlternativelypressSTOPto
revertbacktotheSTART/READYstatus.
9. Under START/READY status, enter CUSTOM mode. After setting TIME, press ENTER to set the SPEED and INCLINE
levels you want. There are 30 intervals to set and you can set the intervals by pressing ENTER. After setting press
START to start.
