ATEN EA1442 Quick start guide

  • Hello! I've reviewed the User Guide for the ATEN Door Sensor EA1442. This document details the installation process, explaining how to attach the switch and magnet to a door and its frame. It also covers the wiring connections and highlights the sensors ability to be installed on the inside or outside of the frame, as long as the two ends meet. I'm ready to answer any questions you have about it.
  • What components are included in the package?
How should the sensors be installed?
Where should the wires be connected?
EA1442 Reed Door Sensor
1 Switch
1 Magnet
D+ Ground
Use the adhesive tape to secure one sensor to the door, and the other
sensor to the rack frame so that when the door is closed the two meet flush
but do not obstruct the doors ability to close completely. The sensors can be
installed on the inside or outside of the frame, as long as they do not prevent
the door from closing and the two flat ends meet. Connect a wire to the D+
port and a wire to the Ground port on the energy box or eco PDU, as shown
below.
