Also leave the machine to stand for a few hours, if you
transport it from a cold to a warm room, before switching
the machine on.
Do not turn the machine upside-down, otherwise the
compressor could become damaged.
During ice production, the machine gives off heat and
needs a sufficient supply of fresh air. If the heat cannot be
discharged properly, there is a risk that the machine will
overheat and become damaged.
Therefore, please make sure ...
... that the device openings are not covered up and are
free and clean. Do not insert objects into the openings
under any circumstances.

Do not use the ice cube machine any longer, if it has fallen
down, if the plastic components of the ice cube machine
have cracks or flaws or have deformed. This also applies, if
the machine has become deformed or leaks.
Instructions on hygiene and residual
water
Clean the surfaces on regular basis that come into contact with foods and
accessible drainage systems.
The opening of the lid for a longer period of time can cause a significant
increase to the temperature inside the device. Therefore, always only open
the lid briefly.
Even if the water tank is empty, a small residual amount of water remains in
the machine.
The water must be drained 1x per day or if you no longer use the machine
for a longer period of time.
To avoid contamination of foods, please note the following:
Clean the water tanks, if they have not been used for 48 hours.
If the refrigeration device remains empty for a longer period of time,

switch the device off, clean and dry it and leave the door open, in order
to avoid mold formation in the device.
Functional principle
The water container is filled with water for ice cube production. After the
machine is supplied with current and switched on, the freezing coils are put
into contact with the water. After a few minutes, the ice cubes are formed layer-
by-layer on the ice-cold freezing coils.
As soon as the ice cubes are finished on the freezing coils and are frozen “in
shape”, the coolant in the machine heats up the heating gas briefly in the
freezing coils, as a result of which, the ice cubes release and fall down. This
process is referred to as “melting off.
A pusher pushes the finished ice cubes into the ice cube basket and the
production of the next ice cubes starts over again automatically.
Initial use
Unpacking and setting up the machine
The ice cube machine is bulky. Let a second person help you
with unpacking and setup, if possible.
Do not take hold of the device on the lid, but rather, on the
sides.
Place the machine on a horizontal, level, vibration-free and heat-resistant
surface. The ambient temperature should be between 50 °F and 90 °F.
Remove all packaging materials.
Check scope of delivery
1. Check whether all parts are present.
2. Check whether the device or accessories show damage. If this is the case,
do not use the ice cube machine. Contact the manufacturer via the service
address stated on the guarantee card.
Clean thoroughly
Prior to initial use, clean all parts of the machine and the accessories, as
described in the “Cleaning” section.
Wait for another 2 hours, before switching the machine on and
producing the first ice cubes. Do not insert the mains plug into a
power outlet yet, do not switch the machine on yet.

a) Fill with water
The colder the water is that you fill into the machine, the faster
and more energy-saving the ice cubes will be produced.
However, the water should not be colder than 46 °F and not
warmer than 68 °F.

1. Open the lid of the device and remove the ice cube basket 11 .
A
2. Fill the ice cube machine
with water. Ensure that
you do not exceed the
maximum mark. The front
ice cube basket supports
in the water tank serve as
the MAX mark. Maximum
capacity of the machine:
approx. 60.8 fl.oz.
3. Reinsert the ice cube
basket and close the lid of
the device. The ice cube
basket can only be inserted
properly in one position.
b) Start production
If ADD WATER lights up, the water in the water tank is used up
and the machine will stop the ice cube production (see “Refill
water”).
You can switch the machine off at any time by pressing the
ON/OFF button.
1. Connect the mains plug to a power outlet. The POWER lamp lights up, as well
as SMALL or LARGE.
2. Choose the required ice cube size with the SELECT button.
Larger ice cubes LARGE need more production time than small ones.
The small ice cubes SMALL are very suitable for producing “crushed ice”.
3. Press the ON/OFF button to start the ice production.
The POWER button now lights up continuously and the machine starts with
the fully-automated production of ice cubes. Please note:
The machine has a slight “after-run”, i.e., it always takes several seconds
before the machine responds to the button presses. That is normal and
is not a fault.
Due to the fast freezing process, it can occur that the ice cubes look
slightly milky, because the air captured in the water ends up in the ice
cubes. However, this has no influence on the quality or flavor of the ice
cubes.
Produce ice cubes
Druckbuch ES_Maschine USA.indb 13Druckbuch ES_Maschine USA.indb 13 04.11.2022 16:50:1604.11.2022 16:50:16

Leave the lid 5 closed during ice cube production. Only open it to
remove finished ice cubes.
A production cycle takes between 7 and 10 minutes, depending on the
water temperature and ambient temperature, as well as the selected ice
cube size.
Due to technical reasons, the ice cubes do not remain permanently fro-
zen in the ice cube basket.
c) Remove ice cubes
The ice cube machine produces approx. 9 ice cubes per cycle and then
transports them automatically into the ice cube basket 11 .
As soon as the basket is full, the ICE FULL display lights up red and the machine
stops.
The light barrier 12 detects the fill level of the ice cube basket, or ice cubes
that are lying in the way. You can then move these ice cubes into the ice cube
basket 10 with the ice scoop and the device will run one cycle further.
The ice cubes are kept chilled in the ice cube basket, whereby the condensation
automatically drips back into the water tank.
It is advisable to tip the ice cubes back into the water beneath the ice cube
basket when initially using the ice cube maker. This way, the interior space of
the machine will cool down more quickly and the ice cubes will then have the
desired size.
You can remove ice cubes at any time. As soon as sufficient ice cubes have been
removed or have melted, the production of ice cubes will start automatically
again.
BTo remove ice cubes:
1. Open the lid 5.
2. Remove the ice cube basket
and empty it or remove it or
remove individual ice cubes
with the ice scoop 10 .
Condensation may drip
out of the ice cubes. Shake
the basket slightly before
removing it completely.
3. Reinsert the ice cube basket
and close the lid.
