the Disassembly, Replacements and Reassembly sections:

1.3 Adhesives
Use a dentist hook and/or the tweezers to remove old adhesives.
Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol before attaching new adhesives.

2 Disassembly
When you are going to replace a part being listed in Replacements, the instruction of that section
usually begins by directing you to this Disassembly section with a specification of the instructions you
have to carry out in order to disassemble the phone as far as needed before returning to
Replacements for the actual replacement.

Insert and press the Front Opening Tool down to release
the Battery Cover Assembly,
and remove the Battery Cover Assembly.
Insert and press the Front Opening Tool down to release
the Battery,
and remove the Battery.

Slide the Sliding Lens Cover to its end position.
Use the Dentist Hook to remove one of the Screw Cover
Coated,
and do the same on the opposite side.

2.1.4 Antenna Cover Assembly
Use torx bit no. 6 to remove these two 1,6 x 6,1 screws.
T
HE TWO 1,6 X 6,1 SCREWS MUST BE SCRAPPED, CANNOT BE
REUSED
!
Use the PH00 bit to remove this Flat Head Screw,
and the second one on the opposite side.
T
HE TWO SCREWS MUST BE SCRAPPED, CANNOT BE REUSED!
Insert the Guitar Pick as shown in picture to unlatch the
Antenna Cover Assembly at this side,

Use a Dentist Hook to release the Antenna Cover Assembly
at both ends on this side,
and do the same on the opposite side.

Antenna Cover Assembly continued
Remove the Antenna Cover Assembly.
NOTE!!!
The below information regarding the Antenna Cover
Assembly is ONLY for units that are produced before
09w10.
Remove the current gasket and mesh using a scalpel or
similar tool. Be careful not to damage the sealing surface on
the Antenna Cover.
The protrusion in the plastic shows the placement area for
the gasket.

Assemble the new gasket (1203-5255:2) and mesh on the
Antenna Cover.
Be careful not to cover the holes with the gasket.
Press the gasket hard for 3 seconds to make sure the
adhesive is activated.
Assemble the grounding gasket (1210-8839:2) using a
tweezers.
The gasket should be aligned against the screw boss and
metal edge (red).

Assemble a grounding gasket also on the opposite side of
the Antenna Cover by repeat the above assemble steps.

2.1.5 Speakerbox Assembly
Use the Front Opening Tool to disconnect the BtB
connector.
Use the Front Opening Tool to release the Speakerbox
Assembly on this side,
and on the opposite side.
Remove the Speakerbox Assembly.

2.1.6 PBA incl. Card Reader Assembly
Use the Front Opening Tool to release the PBA here.
Raise the PBA as far as it goes and disconnect the
Keyboard FPC Assembly BtB connector using the Front
Opening Tool.
Use the Front Opening Tool to disconnect the LCD FPC
connector.
Turn the PBA upside/down and unlock the ZIF connector by
opening the lock with the Front Opening Tool.

Use the Flex Film Assembly Tool to pull the FPC out of the
ZIF connector.
Remove the PBA.

Use the Front Opening Tool to disconnect this BtB
connector which is located on the PBA.
Use the Front Opening Tool to separate the Card Reader
Assembly from the PBA.
Remove the Card Reader Assembly.

2.1.8 Sliding Lens Cover
There are four Plastic Slider Snap as indicated by the
arrows in the picture.
Use the Dentist Hook and push all four Plastic Slider Snap
down to unsnap them.
Use the Dentist Hook to release them and to have them
removed.

HE FOUR PLASTIC SLIDER SNAP MUST BE SCRAPPED,
CANNOT BE REUSED!
Use the Front Opening Tool to unsnap the Sliding Lens
Cover on this side,
