DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Apply
DeFence by Havahart® when first signs of damage appear or when deer or rabbits are seen on your
property or nearby. Lightly sprinkle DeFence by Havahart® evenly over the area to be protected at
a rate of 1 lb.per 500 square feet. This product may be applied directly from the container or by using
a spreader. Do not apply directly to food crops intended for consumption. For food crops and specific
sites such as ornamental plants, trees or shrubs, apply product to the area around the plant. Avoid
creating piles when applying the product. Reapply DeFence by Havahart® Repelling Pellets when effects
of previous treatment begin to fade. More frequent application may be needed during periods of
prolonged, heavy or frequent rainfall.

STORAGE & DISPOSAL
Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
STORAGE: Store in original container in a cool, dry place inaccessible to children and pets.
CONTAINER DISPOSAL: If Empty: Do not reuse or refill this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling
if available. If Partly Filled: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at
an approved waste disposal facility. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS
Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes as product may cause eye irritation. Wash thoroughly with soap
and water after handling this product. Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface
water is present or to inter-tidal areas below the mean high water mark.
IMPORTANT
This product contains egg solids which may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Do not allow
product or product dust to drift onto plants intended for human consumption when applying.
FIRST AID
IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact
lenses, if present, after first five minutes, then continue rinsing eye. If irritation persists, call a physician
for treatment advice.
