The gas burner support and the relevant
hardware comes as one assembly together with
the built-under oven directly from the factory,
and it is secured onto the upper panel of the
oven to avoid damage during the transport.
Warning: during each phase of the
procedure described below, take
utmost care not to cause any stress
to the internal aluminium gas pipes
which connect the gas taps to the
burner bodies, to avoid any risk of
gas leakage.
Procedure
1. Remove the two fixing screws “A” which
keep the gas burner support linked to the
built-in oven (Figure 1). Remove the four
fixing screws "B" from the side brackets.
2. Remove the two side brackets “C” from the
gas burner support (Figure 2).
3. Take the two accessory side brackets “D”
which are supplied within the glass hob kit.
Fix them to the gas burner support using
the four fixing screws “B” which have been
previously removed (Figure 3).
Gas hob installation
These instructions should be read in combination with
the user instructions and the installation instructions
provided with the built-under cooker which the glass
hob top has to be coupled with.

3. Insert the appliance into the cabinet recess
which has been properly set according to
the instructions which are provided in the
user manual for the built-under cooker. The
gas burner support should then be visible
from the cut-out in the worktop.
4. Gently lift the gas burner support upwards.
Take utmost care not to cause any stress
to the aluminium gas piping connecting the
gas taps to the burner bodies.
Warning: the gas burner support
should never be lifted more than 80
mm from its original position, as this
may cause leakage at the gas circuit
(see Figure 4). The safety laces “E”
which are secured to the gas burner
support and to the built-under cooker
body are meant to avoid the
uncorrect handling of the gas burner
support during this operation.
Do not remove the safety laces “E”
nor the earth connection wires “F”
for any reason!
5. Slightly loose the four screws “B” and pull
the two side brackets to the left and right
hand side (Figure 5), until they match the
borders of the opening in the worktop.
6. Carry out the proper adjustments to the gas
burner support position. Consider that the
clearance from each burner injector to the
side edges of the opening in the worktop
should be the same for each burner (see
Figure 6).
7. Fix the side brackets to the side edges of
the cut-out in the worktop by means of the
four wood screws “G” which are supplied
with the built-under cooker (see Figure 5).
8. Tighten the four fixing screws “B” on the
side brackets (see Figure 5).
Once the gas support is fixed to the
worktop, and before installing the
glass hob top, it is essential that a
thorough leak test is carried out on
all the connections in the gas circuit
(gas taps, gas pipes, burner bodies).

9. Place the four rubber gaskets which are
supplied with the glass hob kit onto the
edge of each hole in the glass hob
itself. The correct position of the rubber
gasket is shown in Figure 7.
10. Place the adhesive gasket which is
supplied with the glass hob kit onto the
edges of the bottom side of the glass
hob itself, as shown in Figure 8. Take
care that both ends of the gasket meet
precisely without overlapping.
11. Place the glass hob top onto the cut-
out on the worktop (see Figure 9),
considering that the clearance from
each burner injector to the side edges
of the glass hob top should be the same
for each burner.

12. Choose the proper burner plates from the
series which is supplied with the glass
hob kit (Figure 10). If the gas burners are
provided with safety device (thermocouple),
choose the plates with the relevant hole.
If the built-under cooker is provided with
normal gas burners, choose the plates
without hole.
10. Place the enamelled plates onto the
gas buners bodies (Figure 11), taking
care that all details (spark candle slot,
fixing screws slots, thermocouple hole
if present) match each other.
11. Finally, fix each gas burner to the relevant
enamelled plate by means of two screws
(supplied with the built-under cooker). Insert
a plain washer under the screw head as
shown in Figure 12 (washers are supplied
with the built-under cooker).

12. Choose the proper aluminium crowns from
the series which is supplied with the glass
hob kit (Figure 13). If the gas burners are
provided with safety device (thermocouple),
choose the crowns with the relevant slot.
If the built-under cooker is provided with
normal gas burners, choose the crowns
without slots.
13. Place the aluminium crowns, the
enamelled caps and the enamelled
pan supports which are supplied with
the glass hob kit onto each burner, as
shown in Figure 14. Check that each
part is in the correct position and well
stable, to ensure that the gas burners
can operate properly.
