Subject: Changing top of form setting.

Question: How do I change the position of the first line of print in relation to the top of my page.

Answer: Firstly you will need to have loaded the paper into your printer by using the Load/Park

facility on the bail release lever. Once the paper is inserted correctly use the following

combinations of buttons to advance or reverse the paper to the correct top of form setting:

To feed the paper one line at a time down the page by pressing the key once.

To feed the paper one page at a time by pressing and holding down the key.

To micro line feed forwards by holding each key down once

simultaneously.

To reverse micro line feed the paper by holding down each key once

simultaneously.

By moving the paper installed in the printer using the above button combinations the top of

form setting is changed and stored electronically. To store the new setting use the following

button combination:

Press

to enter Function mode.

Press to store the new top of form setting, the printer will beep to confirm.

Press to exit.

N.B. When performing paper installation or adjusting the paper position please ensure that the

platen roller knob is not used, this setting can only be changed electronically via the front

panel.
