The smart, thin and light 15.6” Satellite Pro R50 laptop is the proven reliable professional that’s designed, built and
tested to keep your business moving forwards.
We know what you put your business notebooks through, so we’ve built the R50 to stand up to the rigours of daily
business use.
The rigid and robust chassis has a proven low failure rate, and it’s already passed Toshiba’s aeronautical-grade
Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) including drop, impact and spill tests. As a result, it has world-class reliability
built in, reducing the need for IT maintenance and significantly lowering downtime, so your execs stay productive.
Clear high definition viewing without worrying about the glare is a breeze with the 15.6” non-reflective widescreen
HD display. Plus the Satellite Pro R50 comes with a choice of Intel® processors, providing the high performance
responsiveness and speed needed to stay productive every day.
Pre-loaded with Windows® 7 Professional, the R50 also includes Windows® 8.1 in the box. There’s also best-in-
class wired and wireless connectivity with Bluetooth® V4.0, blisteringly fast 802.11ac Wi-Fi™ for streaming large
videos and downloading gigabyte files, HDMI® for big screen connectivity, RGB, VGA, 2 USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0
port.
Unlike many ultraportables, the Satellite Pro R50 features a built-in DVD SuperMulti Drive, capable of reading and
writing the most popular disc formats. It also has a tiled keyboard with numeric keypad and a removable long-life
battery that provides unplugged freedom for up to 7.25 hours.
This extremely reliable portable office also includes greater security features to keep your sensitive business data
safe. Toshiba’s exclusive BIOS fully protects your system against unauthorised access, and there’s an HDD 3D
sensor for permanent data protection if you accidently drop your notebook.
