AfilmofAquaseal®shouldbeappliedtothesealingsurfaceofthebayonetbase.Donotapply
theAquaseal®allthewaytotheouteredgeofthebayonetbase.Applyitabout¼”(6mm)out
fromthethreads.
Placethebayonetbaseinthepunched
holeontheinsideofthesuittakingcareto
adjustthetwoparallellinesonthe
bayonetbasetothedesireddirectionyou
wishtheconnectionhosetoberouted.
Threadthelockingringinplaceonthe
outsideofthesuitandthreadontillhand
tight,allthewhiletakingcarethatthetwo
parallelsurfacesonthebayonetlockin
ringstayaligned.Oncefingertight,usethesuppliedwrenchestosnugtheringsinplace,always
payingattentiontothealignmentofthebayonetlockingring.Wipeupanyexcessadhesive
extrudesfromunderthebayonetlockingring.Itisagoodideatowaitafewhoursbefore
proceedingtothenextstep.Iftheadhesiveshavenotbeenallowedtocurethealignmentof
thebayonetlockingringcouldshift.
InstallingtheP‐ValveBodyandFastLockCap
TheFastLockCapshouldberemovedifyouhavereplacedit.Fromthe
insideofthesuit,alignthetwostraightparallelsideswithvalvebody
withtheparallelstraightsidesofthebayonetmount.Pressinplace
thenrotateclockwiseto90degrees.Onceyoustartrotating,release
thedownwardtensionandvalvebodywilllockinplaceonceitreaches
90degrees.Oncelockedinplacethevalvebodywillnotrotateunless
youapplydownwardpressure.
TurnthesuitrightsideouttoinstalltheFastLockCap.Beforeinstalling
thecapmakesurethespringisstillinplace.Alignthethreeguidepins
withthethreeguidechannelsinthevalvebody.Whilemaintaining
downwardpressure,rotatethecap1/6ofaturnclockwise.Onceastop
hasbeenreached,stoppressingdown.Thecapspringwillpushtheca
upwhichisthenormalopenposition.Tomovetotheclosedposition
continuetorotatethevalve1/3clockwise.
ValveOperation
WhentheFastLockCapisturnedfullyclockwiseandsnugagainststop,
thevalveiscompletelyclosedandinoperable.Nofluidscanbe
dischargedorenterthesuit.Whenthecapisturnedcounterclockwise
approximately1/3ofaturn,thevalveisoperationalandinfully
automaticdivemode.Indivemode,fluidscanbedischargedatwill,but
watercannotre‐enterthevalveduetotheone‐waycheckvalve.The
