Your phone has a touch-sensitive screen. To
access features or obtain information, tap the
menu items, arrow keys, soft keys (the keys
along the bottom of the touch screen) and field
that display on the touch screen.
If you are required to initially configure your IP
phone you will be advised of the Username and
Password. This information only needs to be
entered once via the QSetup soft key.
Tap the QSetup soft key
Tap the Server User field
Enter the Server User credentials (obtain this
information from Telstra.
This number will be your phone number)
Tap the Server Password field
Tap the Mode soft key and tap 123 (to select
numbers)
Enter the Server password (obtain this
information from Telstra)
Tap Save Config to Save the Config
You will now need to manually reboot the phone
Press the Home button
Tap Settings
Tap Basic , swipe your finger up the screen and
Tap Restart Phone
Tap the Yes soft key (to confirm)
Note 1: Restarting the phone may take a few
minutes
Note 2: If your phone has been preconfigured
the QSetup soft key will not be visible
Note 3: This is only required for phones that are
on DMS (Device Management System)
platform.
Your phone displays video in 2 windows, a
small picture-in-picture (PIP) window at the top-
right of the touch screen, and a larger window
centred in the middle of the touch screen.
During a call, you can tap the PIP to swap
the windows the video displays in. You can
also display video on the entire screen (full
screen mode) by tapping the larger window.
Ensure you open the privacy shutter
(centred above the touch screen) using the
privacy shutter adjuster (centred above the
camera). You can also adjust the camera barrel
(located at the back of the camera) up or down.
If you require your phone to receive video and
not send video, follow the steps below to
disable the sending of video.
To enter the Main menu, tap Menu
Tap Settings, Basic, Video, Video Call
Settings
Tap Auto Start Video Tx – set this to disabled
Tap the Save soft key
(All calls will have video from the phone
blocked)
If the user decides to send video during the call
Tap the Video soft key that comes up during
the call,
Tap the Start Video soft key that’s shown and
two way video is activated
During a video call, tap the Video soft key to do
the following:
To start or stop transmitting video, tap the Start
Video or Stop Video soft keys
To display the video that appears in the large
window on the entire screen, tap the Full
Screen soft key. To return to normal video, tap
the Full screen video
To toggle the video to display large far-site
video with PIP near-site video or vice versa, tap
the Swap soft key
To exit the video options, tap the Back soft key
