Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing the Tommee Tippee® comforter
thermometer. We hope you enjoy using the product. In order
to be completely satised, we recommend you read these
instructions carefully.
WARNING
DO NOT TIE SOOTHER AROUND BABY’S NECK AS IT
PRESENTS A STRANGULATION HAZARD.
USE ONLY UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION.

battery, we recommend switching the thermometer off as soon as you
have noted the temperature measurement. However, the thermometer will
switch itself off automatically if no temperature measurement is made
within 10 minutes.
If you have to interrupt the measurement for any reason,
repeat the procedure described above.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Before each use, examine the comforter bulb for cracks, tears, tackiness or
other signs of wear. Do not use the comforter thermometer if it is worn.
Do not expose to direct sunlight, high temperatures, moisture or dirt.
Do not attempt to pull on the comforter bulb or twist it to remove it from
the device as you may damage the temperature sensor and electronic
components and thereby impair the sensitivity of the thermometer.
Do not allow a child to play with the thermometer. It is not a toy. It is a
sensitive electronic device and may be damaged if it is not correctly used
under adult supervision.
Use this thermometer for oral temperature measurements only.
The battery is not replaceable. Do not attempt to remove it.
CLEANING AND STERILISING
To clean, wipe thermometer with damp cloth. The thermometer can ONLY be
sterilised by immersing ONLY the silicone nipple (clear portion) in sterilising
solution for up to 10 seconds. ONLY the protective clip-on plastic cap can
sterilised by fully immersing in the sterilising solution for up to 10 seconds.
Always store dry with hygienic cover after cleaning.
WARNING:
The Comforter Thermometer should NEVER be completely immersed in
sterilising solution or sterilised in boiling water, or steam sterilised as this will
damage the electronic components.
Do not throw old batteries away. Place them in a container specially provided
for worn batteries so that they may be collected and recycled.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Hold the ON/OFF button pressed down until the indication
“188.8 C/M” followed by 1 M is displayed on the LCD readout.
Release the button. The screen displays L°C M, then 36.5°C. You can use
the thermometer as soon as the °C symbol begins to flash. To recall the last
5 measurements, hold the On/Off button pressed down until “188.8 C/M”
appears on the LCD readout, followed by the indication 1M, 2M, .., 5M
obtained after each pressing of the button.
If the ambient temperature is greater than 44.0°C, the LCD readout
displays Hi°C. If it is less than 32.0°C,the LCD readout displays Lo°C.
Place the comforter bulb in the child’s mouth and allow the child to suck on
the comforter thermometer for at least 3 minutes.
Once the temperature has stabilised on the maximum measurement for 3
minutes, an audible signal is emitted for 8 seconds.
Remove the comforter thermometer from the child’s mouth and read the
temperature indicated on the LCD screen display.
Stop the thermometer by pressing the ON/OFF button again. To save the
