3M Locator Plate Riser Block, 3458, is designed to be used with the 3316 Universal Press to raise 3443-XX Scotchflex Locator Plates to the same height as other Scotchflex assembly presses. This allows for the use of a wider variety of Scotchflex connectors with the 3316 Universal Press. The riser block mounts onto the top surface of the press base and is anchored in place with two captive screws. The included 3436-1A Shut Height Gauge helps to ensure proper shut height for the specific connector being assembled.
