The Dynex DX-LTLOCK is a notebook cable lock designed to protect your computer hardware and data from theft. It is compatible with 99% of notebook computers manufactured today and features a key-operated locking mechanism for added security.

To use the DX-LTLOCK, simply thread the cable through an anchoring device and insert the lock into the looped end of the cable. Then, insert the lock into your notebook computer’s lock slot and turn the key counter-clockwise to engage the lock. Once the lock is engaged, your notebook computer will be securely protected.

How to use your cable lock

To protect your notebook computer:

1 Feed the cable through an anchoring device,

then insert the lock through the looped end

of the cable.

2 Insert the lock into your notebook

computer’s lock slot.

3 Turn the key counter-clockwise to engage

the lock, then remove the key.

Now your notebook computer is well protected.

Important! Register your key code.

NOTE: Registering your key code allows you to identify your key code if you ever need to

replace the key. This prevents anyone from making a copy of your key without

authorization. To register your key code, locate the code stamped on the key, then go to

www.kensington.com to register.
