FILTER CARTRIDGE CONVERSION KIT
FOR THE 690 FISH TAPE SYSTEM
Assembly Instructions
1. Open and remove the top of the 690 Blower/Vacuum.
Turn it over, with the filter “cage” up.
2. Insert the 5/16" x 3/4" bolt (B) through the opening and
from inside the top of the wire filter “cage.” Fasten the
bolt in position with the 5/16" hex nut as shown. Use a
pliers to tighten the nut.
3. Place the new experimental filter cartridge (A) over the
filter “cage” so the end of the bolt protrudes through
the hole in the top of the cartridge. Be sure the car-
tridge is fully seated when you push it down.
4. Slip the washer (D) over the end of the bolt and then
fasten the cartridge in place with the 5/16" wing nut.
The 690 Blower/Vacuum can now be reassembled to
the tank unit.
