is not greased internally. You must install grease i
nside the outer casing or cable resistance will resu
lt in poor shifting quality.
Install the SIS-SP36 sealed outer cap (sold separ
atery) to the r
ear derailleur side of the outer casing.

, use the hexagonal part of the cab
le cutter to
repair the d
istortion of
the liner.

Then insert the liner all the way
iuto the ca
p, firmly
clamp the i
nner edge of the cap at the hexago
nal part,
and then se
cure it.
If the cap is no
t securely att
ached to the lin
er, the SIS
might not move
prope
rly.
