e provided 120-volt portable charge cord is located under the
cargo oor in the trunk.
START CHARGING
1. With the vehicle parked, select the Charging buon at the
boom of the Energy Usage screen that appears on the infotain-
ment system once the vehicle is turned OFF.
2. Review the selected Charge Limit and Charge Mode. Adjust
theseings if an increased Charge Limit or dierent Charge
Mode is desired. Use the reduced charge limit until a qualied
electrician inspects the electrical circuit capacity of your home,
or if the electrical circuit or outlet capacity is not known.
Note: The Charge Limit selection returns to the default 8 amp setting each
time the vehicle is driven. If Location-Based Charging is enabled, the 12 amp
setting can be set as the default when charging at home.
3. Remove the charge
cord from the trunk
and plug it into an
electrical outlet. DO
NOT PLUG INTO
AN EXTENSION
CORD. e charge

Where possible,
secure the charge
cord to the wall.
4. Press and release the rear edge of the charge port door, located
on the driver’s side of the vehicle, to open the door. Plug the
charge cord into the charge port.
CHARGING
5. e Charging Status Indicator on the instrument panel illumi-
nates green and a beep sounds when properly connected.
Note: After plugging in, the Charging Status Indicator may be yellow for a
few seconds before turning green.
Lock the vehicle with the Remote Keyless Entry transmier to
arm the Charge Cord e Alert, if enabled. When the the
alert is armed, the alarm will sound when the plug is discon-
nected from the locked vehicle. To change the Charge Cord
e Alert option, go to Seings > Vehicle > Energy on the
infotainment system.
To temporarily override a delayed charge event, remove and
reconnect the charge cord into the vehicle within 5 seconds.
Charging will begin immediately.
END CHARGING
Once charging is
complete, unlock
the vehicle with the
Remote Keyless
Entry transmier,
unplug the charge
cord from the vehi-
cle and close the
charge port door.
Properly stow the charge cord in the trunk.
HOME CHARGING STATION
Charging equipment with at least a 240-volt/20-amp rating will
provide the fastest charging time to recharge the high voltage
baery. For more information about a home charging station,
contact your local Cadillac dealership.
