RADIO CONTROLS
Power and Volume
Press the PWR/VOL knob to turn the
radio on/off. Turn the knob to the
desired volume setting.
Select Band
Press the BAND button to select AM,
FM1, FM2, WEATHER, XM1 or XM2.
Select Radio, Cassette, or CD
Press the SOURCE button to select
Radio, Cassette or CD. Your choice
will be displayed.
Set the Clock
Press and hold the HR or MN button.
Release the button as you get close
to the correct hour or minute. Tap
the button to set the exact hour or
minute.
Tone
Press and release the TONE button to
select desired tone control (Bass,
Treble or Midrange). Press the
– LEVEL + button to increase or
decrease the Bass, Treble or
Midrange.
Balance/Fade
Press and release the speaker side of
the TONE button to select Balance or
Fade control. Press the – LEVEL+
button to adjust the sound to the
left/right or front/rear speakers.
Set Stations
The six numbered pushbuttons let
you set up to 18 stations (six AM, six
FM1 and six FM2).
Turn the radio on. Select the Band.
Tune in the station.
Press and hold one of the
pushbuttons marked 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
until a chime is heard. Repeat for
each pushbutton.
Scan the Stations/Preset Stations
Press the SCAN button for less than 2
seconds and the radio will play each
station for 5 seconds. Press and
release the SCAN button again to
stop scanning. Press and hold the
SCAN button for more than 2
seconds to scan each of the preset
stations.
Tune/Seek Stations
Press the top of the button to the first
position to TUNE a station. Press the
bottom of the button to SEEK a
station.
PTY (Program Type)
Press to actuate channel category
mode and – LEVEL+ to scroll
categories. Use TUNE/SEEK or SCAN
to search category type stations.

CASSETTE PLAYER CONTROLS
Insert Tape
With the radio on, insert the tape into
the slot. The tape will begin to play.
Fast Forward Tape
Press the FF arrows of the RW/FF
button. Press again to stop.
Rewind Tape
Press the RW arrows of the RW/FF
button. Press again to stop.
Eject Tape
Press the upward triangle button to
eject the tape.
Select Side
Press the SIDE button to select the
cassette side you wish to hear.
COMPACT DISC (CD) CONTROLS
Insert CD
With the radio on, insert CD partway
into the slot with the label side up.
The player will pull the CD in and
begin to play.
Eject the CD
Press the upward triangle button to
eject the CD.
Listen to Tracks in Random Order
Press the RDM button.
Listen to Tracks for a Few Seconds
Press the SCAN button to start or
stop.
Seek the Next Track
Press the TUNE side of the
TUNE/SEEK button.
Seek the Previous Track
Press the SEEK side of the
TUNE/SEEK button.
Fast Forward CD
Press and hold the FF arrows of the
RW/FF button. Release to stop.
Reverse the CD
Press and hold the RW arrows of the
RW/FF button. Release to stop.

RADIO DATA SYSTEM FEATURES

Your audio system RDS (Radio Data
Systems) provides you with many
useful features.
Note: Not all FM stations broadcast
RDS data.
RDS Depress button. You
then have 5 seconds to
activate an RDS function.
TA Receives traffic
announcements.
MSG Displays current station
messages.
PTY Turns on/off program
type (PTY) seeks or scans.
-Level+ Moves up and down the
list of program types.
DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING
(if equipped)
Setting the DSP tone
Press the Digital Signal Processing
(DSP) button to activate one of four
audio effects. Press the button again
to select TALK, FRONT SEAT,
AMBIANCE or SPACIOUS.
Setting the Level
Press the –LEVEL+ button to adjust
the amount of DSP effect.
CONSOLE-MOUNTED CD
CHANGER (if equipped)
Change a CD (with a 6-CD
Changer option)
Press buttons 1 through 6 to change
the CDs loaded in the changer (or
press the SIDE button to advance to
the next CD). The numbers represent
the order of the CDs loaded in the
changer.
Note: Read the display before playing
a CD.
A flashing CD symbol indicates the
changer is checking the magazine
for CDs.
A non-flashing CD symbol
indicates the magazine is loaded
with CDs, inserted properly and
ready to play.
An error message may indicate the
magazine is not loaded or inserted
properly.

DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER
CONTROLS
1. ENG/MET
Press the ENG/MET button to
display instrument cluster
information in English or metric.
2. DSPL MODE
Turns the digital/analog display
feature on/off.
3. RESET TRIP A/B
There are two trip odometers.
Press the A/B portion of the
button to select and view the trip
odometers.
4. INFO
Press the INFO button up or down
to display: OUTSIDE TEMP,
RANGE, AVG ECONOMY, INST
ECONOMY, FUEL USED, AVG
SPEED, TIMER, BATTERY, ENGINE
OIL LIFE.
5. INFO RESET
Press the INFO RESET button to
reset to 0.0 the AVG ECONO,
FUEL USED, AVG SPEED, TIMER.
After an oil change, press and hold
INFO RESET to reset the ENGINE
OIL LIFE to 100%.
6. ON/OFF
This button is primarily used
during feature programming.
Press the ON/OFF button to start
the TIMER feature. Press the INFO
RESET button to stop the TIMER.

Tilt/Telescoping Steering Wheel

With the vehicle in Park (P), adjust
the driver’s seat (including seatback
recliner, lumbar and head
restraint/shoulder belt height
adjustments), outside rearview mirror
positions, climate control and audio
system settings and steering wheel
position (if equipped).
1. Press and release the MEMORY
SET button.
2. Then, within 5 seconds press and
release one of the two numbered
buttons that match the number on
the back of your remote keyless
entry transmitter. Each time a
memory button is pressed, a
single beep will sound.
Set EXIT Position
With vehicle in PARK (P), adjust the
driver’s seat (including recliner), and
power tilt and telescoping steering
wheel (if equipped) to the desired
exit position.
1. Press and release the MEMORY
SET button.
3. Then, within 5 seconds press and
release the EXIT button.
Recall Memory for Seat and Mirror
positions, Climate Control and
Audio System settings and Power
Tilt/Telescope Steering Wheel
position (if equipped)
Press the unlock-symbol button on
the key fob or press the appropriate
numbered button on the driver-side
door panel.
Note: DIC Remove Recall/Key in
Recall programming allows you to
determine whether settings are
recalled when the key fob button is
pressed or when the key is inserted
into the ignition if the vehicle is
equipped with optional memory
feature.
Recall an EXIT Position
3. Press the EXIT button.
Power Remote Control Mirror
4. Press the LR switch to select the
left or right outside mirror.
5. Press the directional button to tilt
the mirrors to the desired position.

DIC = Driver Information Center
RKE = Remote Keyless Entry
With the ignition key ON and the vehicle in PARK
(P), press the appropriate memory button “1” or “2”
on the driver’s door trim panel that corresponds to
the number on the back of the RKE.
Press INFO until FEATURE PROGRAMMING appears
in the DIC, then press ON/OFF to select feature as
shown below.
Press INFO RESET to exit programming at any time,
and your changes will be saved.
To start programming, press the INFO button until
FEATURE PROGRAMMING appears in the DIC.
Press the ON/OFF button to enter Feature
Programming. Press down on the INFO button to
scroll through the menu. To exit, press the INFO
RESET button.
