markettoday.Constructedofhighqualitymaterialsanddesignedforyearsof
trouble-freeusage,the#7100stairclimberwillbeanintegralpartofyourclub.
Beforeusingyourstairclimber,werecommendthatyoufamiliarizeyourselfwith

Stepbystepinstructions:
Note:
Beforeassemblingyourstairclimber,makesurethatyouhavealltheaboveparts.
Thefollowingstepsexplainhowtoassemblethestairclimber.Pleasereadeverystep
thoroughly,andfollowthedirectionscarefullyandcompletelytoensurecorrectassembly.
1.Makesureallpackingmaterialsareremovedfromthestairclimberframe.
2.Placethestairclimberonlevel,flatground.
3.Thenslippostshroudontotheuprightpost.(seeFig.1)
4.Connecttheupperribboncableinsidetheuprightposttotheconnectorinsidethe
mainframe.(seeFig.2)
Pushdownandtightentheconnectorbyturningbothscrewpinsclockwise.

5.Inserttheuprightpostintothemainframe,andsecurewiththesixscrewsand
washersprovided.(seeFig.3)

6.Assembletherightandlefthandrailstothecentralhandrailandtherearbasewiththe
sixscrewsandwashersprovided.(seeFig.4)
Afterthehandrails(R+L)arefixed,youshouldpayattentiontothecoversonthe
buttonofthehandrailsandcheckwhethertheyfitwellwiththetubeofthehandrails.
Ifnot,youcouldrotatethecoversandtheninsertthemintothetube.Pleasefasten

7.Tightenallscrewsontheuprightframe,rearbaseandcentralhandlebarusingthe
screwdriver,socketandL-handledHexAllenkeyprovided.(seeFig.4-1)

Assembletheupperhandrailontotheuprightpostandtightenallscrewscompletely.
Securethepostshroudwithbolts.Pushthefronthandrailtotheendfirstly.Then
fastenthe3screws(seestep).Lastlyfastenthe2screws(seestep).
9.Ifthestairclimberisunsteadyonyourfloor,turnthefloorleveladjustmentsoneach
endofthefrontbase.Raiseorlowerthefloorleveladjustmentstosteadyyour
machine.Thentightenthenutsusingtheopen-endedwrench.(seeFig.6)

Understandingtheelectronicpackage

Assoonasyoupressthe"ON"buttonintheelectronicpackageorbeginstepping,you
willautomaticallyentertheMANUALMODE,startingat"LEVEL5".IfthisistheMODE
youwishtouse,youmaysimplybeginyourworkout.Ifyoudonotbeginwithin3
seconds,youwillbepromptedtoSTEPTOSTART.
1)Thereare28levels,withLEVEL1beingtheeasiestworkout,andLEVEL28
beingthehardestworkout.Usethebuttontochooseyourdesiredlevel.
2)Thismachineusesageneratorsystem,Iftheuserweighslessthan40KGS
(88LBS),theunitmaynotautomaticallyturnonsimplybythisstepping.
1.When"MAN'L"appearsinthedisplaywindow,youcanadjusttheLEVELtoyour
desiredworkout.
2.PresstheLEVELbuttontochooseyourdesiredworkoutLEVEL.
PresstheTIMEbuttontosetyourdesiredworkoutTIME.
PresstheHEIGHTCLIMBEDbuttonstosetyourdesiredworkoutHEIGHT
CLIMBED.
3.Afteryoufinishsettingtheabove,ifyoustopinthemiddleofyourworkoutordonot
pedalwithin3seconds,youwillbepromptedto"STEPTOSTART".Allinputdata
(TIME,CAL.HEIGHTCLIMBED,etc.)willberetained.
4.WhenyourdesiredTIMEorHEIGHTCLIMBEDisreached,abeeptonewillsoundfor
1.5seconds.
PresstheMANUAL/SETkey,and"MAN'L"willshowinthedisplay.Pressthekey
onceagain,and"SET"willappearinthedisplay.ThenpressENTER.
1.YoucanchoosebetweenMILE/KILOandWEIGHTwhileintheSETmode.
2.Thereadoutwilldisplay"PRESSTOSELECTMILE/KILO".Pressthekeysto
selecteitherMILEorKILO,thenpressENTERtosaveyourselection.
(Note:choosingMILEwillautomaticallyselectpoundsintheweightcalculation,
andchoosingKILOwillautomaticallyselectkilogramsintheweight
calculation.)

AdjustyourdesiredWORKLEVELandTIMEbyusingthebuttons,thenpress
ENTERtocompletethesetting.
3.Ifyoustopinthemiddleofyourworkoutordonotpedalwithin3seconds,youwillbe
promptedto"STEPTOSTART".
4.Whenstepping,thecourseprofilewillbedisplayedinthewindow,andtheclimberwill
automaticallyadjustthelevelaccordingtoyourenteredpreferences.
5.WhentheRESTmodeisover,thedisplaywillshow"GOINGTOWORKLOAD",and
theclimberwilladjusttothesettingsyouchosefortheworkmode.WhentheWORK

HEIGHT,thenpressENTER.Ifyoudon'tpressENTER,thedisplaywillpromptyouto

3.Theprogramprofilewillbedisplayedinthemainwindow,andtheprogramwillbegin

Theelectronicspackagewillcountdownduringyourworkout,anditwillbeepfor

HEIGHTCLIMBED:UsetheHEIGHTCLIMBEDbuttonstosetyourdesired
workout/heightclimbed.Eachpresschangestheheightclimbed
0.05miles(0.1km).Pressingandholdingthebuttonwillchange
0.5mile(1km)every0.5second.Theelectronicspackagewill
beepfor1.5secondswhenyourdesiredheightisreached,then
starttocountupifyourworkoutcontinues.
CALORIE:Thisreadoutgivesyoutheamountofcaloriesburned,basedontheweight
enteredandtheloadduringyourworkout.
STEP:Thisreadoutgivesyoustepsperminute.
PULSE:(ifyourclimberisequippedwithheartratefunction).

IfthereisnodisplayafteryoustepmorethantwominutesandpressONkey,please
contactyourdealerformoreinformation.
Ifthereisnoloadortheloaddoesn'trespondproperlyafteryousettheLEVEL,
pleasecontactyourdealerformoreinformation.
TheSportsArt7100requireslittlemaintenance.The7100smoothoperationis
dependentonkeepingtheunitascleanaspossible.
Regularcleaningisrecommendedtokeepyourclimber7100atpeakperformance.
Beforeyourworkout,useadryclothtocleanthesurfaceoftheelectronicspackage.

Thedurationofyourexercisesessionisdependentonyourfitnesslevel.Ingeneral,itis
recommendedthatyoumaintainyourheartrateinthetrainingzoneforatleast10
minutestorealizeanaerobicbenefit.Asyourfitnesslevelincreases,youwillbeableto
maintainyourheartrateinthetrainingzoneforlongerperiods:usuallybetween20and
30minutes.
Whenstartingyourworkout,usethefirstseveralminutestowarmup,thenslowly
