SPEAKER INSTALLATION
General Guidelines
• Keepspeakersabout2feetawayfromcornersandothersurfacesthatmightinterferewithorreectsound,suchas
tall furniture.
• Forroomslessthan300squarefeet,twospeakersshouldsufce.Thefurtheraparttheyare,thebetterthesoundwill
be.However,keepthedistanceatamaximumof8-10feettoavoida“hole”inthemiddle.
• Forroomslargerthan300square feet, use 3ormorespeakers.Staggerthem across the space foridealsound
dispersion
1. Unpack speaker and
hanginghardware.Usethe
stowawayhandleforeasy
handling and transporting
of the speaker.
4. Threadhangingcable
throughtheclampasshown.
7. Attachthecablebysecuring
ittothe3-holehangeras
shown.Useincludedsafety
cablewhenrequired.
3. Connectsignalwiretoeither
ofthe(+)and(-)slotsonthe
screw-terminalconnector.
Ensure correct polarity and
tighten unused terminal
screws.Emptyslotscanbe
used as speaker loop-outs.
Refer to Speaker Wiring section
on Pg. 1 for more information.
WARNING:Donotusethe
stowawayhandleforhanging
thespeaker.Usethe3-hole
conguredhangertosuspend
the speaker.
WARNING:Donotsetthe
speaker for 8 ohm operation if
usinga70Vor100Vamplier.
This could cause permanent
damage to the speaker or
amplier.
6. Threadcableend(s)
throughclampasshown.
Adjustspeakerheightwith
the clamp.
9. Secure cables and
speakerwire.
2. Selectthedesiredtap
setting.
5. Attachthehangingcable
by securing it to structure
asshown.
8. Plugscrew-terminal
connectorintojackonrear
of speaker.
