Thank you for purchasing the
Califone LP4 Integrative Laser Pointer.
Instructions
It’s a versatile tool for use with PowerPoint presentations.
It enables you to walk around the room and still control the
presentation.
The LP4 includes a transmitter and USB receiver. The
receiver nests into the transmitter when not in use.
Features:
1. Storage: The transmitter and receiver are integrated into
one unit
2. Control the pace of your presentation
The advanced radio frequency (RF) technology works
through walls up to 30-feet away, so you never have to
stand next to your computer to control the presentation
3. Multifunctional presenter
It combines the functions of a laser pointer and hotkeys.
4. Easy to use
The LP4 is plug-and-play. No driver is required. Just
plug the receiver into the USB port on a PC and it
works within seconds.

II. Operating Tips
1. For optimal performance and RF reception, place the
receiver at least 6” away from all electrical devices,
including monitors, speakers or external storage devices.
2. If battery level is low, the control distance will be lessened.
If the control distance decreases from the transmitter,
replace the battery.
3. The presenter will enter into sleep mode if there is no
operation in 10 minutes. It will wake up if the laser
key is pressed.

Power switch Power on or power off

Power Indicator Turn on the power switch, the light above
light the switch will be on; If entering into the
sleep mode or turning off the power
switch, the light will go out

Laser Indicator The laser indicator light will be on if you
light press the upper part of presenter. Release
your hand, the light will be off.

Page Up The point (A position) is remote center.
Slide from right of the point to left
of the point.

Play/Esc Play PowerPoint: Slide from upper of the
point to lower of the point,

Receiver User can choose the receiver to have SD

IV. Battery installation
The product is powered by 1x AAA battery.
Open the battery cover, and insert 1x AAA battery into
the battery holder.
Battery negative(-) is left and positive (+) is right as below
Put the battery cover back into position.
Note
1. Do not insert battery into the device in the wrong direction.
2. Do not leave bad or exhausted battery in the device
3. If you do not use the device for a long period of time,
remove the battery to avoid possible damage from
battery corrosion.
4. If the device does not function correctly or if the
operating range becomes reduced, replace the battery
with new one.

VI. Safety Measures
To avoid possible eye damage, never point the LP4
at people especially their faces, or look directly into the
LP4 laser beam.
Avoid pointing the presenter’s laser beam at a mirror or
other highly reective surface.
Keep the presenter away from children.
Never view the presenter’s laser beam using telescopic
devices, such as a microscope or binoculars.
Any attempt to disassemble, adjust or repair the presenter
may result in exposure to laser light or other safety
hazards.
User Manual
Note:
The LP4 uses RF technology. The USB receiver
will identify the rst transmitter currently in use.
If you want to use different transmitters with the
same receiver, pull the receiver out and after
waiting six seconds, plug it back in again. Then
press any key on the transmitter and it will then
operate.
