first time.
1 - SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
• For your safety, this appliance is compliant with applicable standards and regulations
(Directives on low voltage appliances, electromagnetic interference, the environment...).
• When your appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use for any proximity with water
may represent a danger, even when the appliance is switched off.
• This appliance is not designed for use by persons (including children) with a physical, sensory
or mental impairment or persons without knowledge or experience, unless they are supervised
or given prior instructions concerning the use of the appliance by someone responsible for their
safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Ensure that your mains supply voltage matches that of your appliance. Any connection error
may cause irreversible damage that is not covered by the warranty.
• Do not use your appliance and contact an Approved Service Centre: If the appliance has fallen
to the floor, if it does not function correctly.
• Always unplug the appliance: Prior to cleaning and maintenance, if any operating anomaly
occurs and as soon as you have finished using it.
• When fitting accessories, always ensure that they are fully pressed home to ensure proper
mounting.
• Only use the accessories supplied with the appliance. Any use other than that recommended in
the instructions is forbidden.
• Always unplug the appliance:
- Prior to cleaning and maintenance.
- If any operating anomaly occurs.
- As soon as you have finished using it.
• Never use your appliance with wet hands or close to water in a bathtub, washbasin, shower or
other recipient…
• The appliance must only be used with the power supply unit supplied and the latter must be
unplugged after use, it must remain easily accessible and it is intended for domestic use only.
• Important: Do not immerse the appliance and its power adapter in water or under running
water.
• Never use an extension cable in the bathroom.
• Never leave the appliance exposed to temperatures below 0°C and in excess of 35°C for prolon-
ged period (e.g. in front of a window in bright sunlight).
• Never expose the appliance to the direct effects of bright sunlight for long periods.
• Keep the appliance, its power cord and its accessories away from all sources of heat.
• Never use the appliance if any operating anomaly occurs or after it has fallen to the floor (invisi-
ble damage caused may be harmful to your safety).
• When the appliance is in operation, it should never come into contact with clothes or any other
object, to avoid any injury or jamming hazard.
• To protect your eyes from any spraying that may occur, we recommend that you never use the
appliance too close to your face, or if necessary, use protective goggles.
• Close supervision is required when the appliance is used on or in the presence of children or
invalids.
• Never leave the appliance and its accessories within reach of children.

lity should the result fail to meet the user's expectations.
