This cast iron grate goes in the bottom of your stove to allow air to ow into the re and ashes
to pass down to the ash pan.
WARNING:
Allow the stove to cool before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning.
40076 GRATE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Turn of the unit and allow it to cool completely. Reach in through the feed door to gain
access to the grates. The grates are sitting on top of the bottom brick. Simply remove the old
and replace with the new.
40101 GRATE REMOVAL
1. Turn of the unit and allow it to cool completely.
2. Open the cabinet door, the feed door, and the ash pan door.
3. The handle of the cast iron grate is visible when the ash pan door is open.
4. To access the grate, reach into the feed door with your right hand and lift the grate up
off of the grate support. With your left hand reach into the ash pan door and support the
grate as it is removed from the unit.
40101 GRATE INSTALLATION
1. Slide the grate into position through the ash pan door with your left hand. With your right
hand reach into the feed door and lift the grate back onto the grate support.
2. Close the feed door, ash pan door, and cabinet door.
