Reason: Seat adjustment mechanism was changed to lengthen the life of the gas spring.
Malfunction: Original gas spring (shock) system failed.

Strength Seat Adjustment Mechanism Part Differentiation
05/14/07
Two types of seat adjustment post mechanisms were devised to match seat angles on different products.
A912-41B (on the left in the picture below) is for A915/A916/A917/A919/A921/A922/A926/A933/A935
A912-41A (on the right in the picture below) is for A912 and A925.
Notes:
1. A935 has a set pin that differs from that of other models.
2. A923 will require a seat adjustment mechanism that has yet to be completed.
Seat Shocks Are No Longer Available
In the past, SportsArt sent new gas springs (shocks) to
replace failed ones in the field. We are no longer sending
lone shocks, part number A912-41, for strength products
listed above. We are replacing lone shocks with the new
mechanism (which includes a built-in shock), as supplies
allow.
If seat shocks on your products fail, please call the SportsArt
Service Department at 866 709 1750. We will send
replacement seat adjustment mechanisms as they become
available. A large shipment will arrive in mid June.
We regret the inconvenience this may cause but feel it
necessary to eliminate the nuisance of replacing gas
springs in the future.
To replace old seat adjustment mechanisms:
1. Remove seat, old post and old plastic sleeve.
2. Insert the new sleeve. Insert and secure the pin
at the bottom. Secure screws on the new post.
3. Install the seat.
