You have purchased a fine quality power tool which will perform a wide variety of
tasks difficult to do with any other kind of power tool. TM Power Tools are
manufactured to high standards of precision and performance and with proper use and
maintenance which will give you years of trouble-free performance.
Safety instructions
Before using your TM cutting machine, please read all safety instructions. They are
for your protection and should always be followed to reduce the risks of personal
injury or damage to the tool.
Always wear proper eye and face protection. Safety glasses or face shields should be
worn whenever you operate a TM any power tool to prevent serious eye or face
injuries. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery and be sure to the back long hair.
Never operate any accessory at speeds above its maximum speed rating. When
properly used, all of TM’s accessories can be operated at the speeds listed in TM
accessory catalogs or on the packaging. Always determine the manufacturer’s speed
rating before using accessories other than TM‘s. (Safety requirements for the use, care,
and protection of abrasive wheels are contained in ANSI Standards B7.1-1978
Never use or continue to use any accessory which appears to be damaged, loose,
vibrating, or out of balance. Inspect each accessory for cracks or flaws before using it.
Always disconnect the power cord before servicing the unit.
Never operate your unit during a perceptible power decrease. Be aware to turn the
machine off and do not use it until power is fully restored.
Use proper grounding procedures. This tool should be grounded while intend to
protect the operator from electric shock. The tool is equipped with an approved 3-
conductor cord and a 3-prong grounding type plug to fit the proper grounding
receptacle. The green and yellow cord is the grounding wire, please be aware never
connect them to a live terminal! Use only 3-wire extension cords that have 3-prong
grounding type plugs and 3-pole type plugs and 3-pole receptacles that accept the
tool’s plug. Always disconnect the power cord before servicing the tool. Never use in
an area where flammable vapors are present.
Assemble Step
The manufacturers specifications for TM multi-functions cutting machine
First step is to place the holder of the blade cover into the working surface. As shown
on the graph.
The next step is using the screwdriver to fix the blade cover on the working surface
The third step you should twist the bottom on the blade cover make it be tight so that
you can move the cover at any angles you like
The fourth step, fix this part onto the machine as shown on the graph below by using
the screws in the attachment bags
The fifth step you should fix the yellow plastic item which uses for measures the angle
while you are ready to cut stones jems.
The sixth step to place the cutting axis by using the L shape spanner in the attachment
bag.
The seventh step is to fix clamping piece on the cutting axis
The eighth step is to place the cutting wheel on the cutting axis and the black clamping
piece.
The final step is to place the locking clip on the cutting wheel, be careful please make
sure you use the spanner on the attachment bag and make the locking clip tight!
Before you run the machine you can place the water tank near the cutting wheel and
connect the pipe so that the waste water can be flow out.
Operation Step
1. To assemble the machine properly look carefully with the assembling steps,
especially the cutting wheel mentioned before must be tighted up so to
avoid the damages.
2. When you cut different materials, you must use different cutting wheels depends
on what you are cutting.
3. The cutting wheel must be placed tight with the locking clip, if the cutting wheel
gets damaged you should change for a new one both provide better safety and
work efficient.
4. When you are running the machine, just be aware to use the suitable force, when
the RPM slows down, it is suggested to reduce the force. If you use too much
power on the machine it will bring damages to the machine.
5. When cutting the stones or gems, make sure there is enough water, you can
change cover of the cutting blade in order to change the water direction to the
cutting items.
6. When you are pushing the materials to the cutting blade with the machine is
running. You must leave enough space between your hands and the blades, you
can use the attachments to help you.
Advice: when you are cutting gems and wood material, it is better to use the
highest RPM
7. When you want to measure the cutting angles you can use the removeable item as
shown on the graph

9. When you start to run the machine, first you should turn on the machine by the
switch, you can change the any rpm you want in the range shown on the machine.
10. Then use the water pipe through the hole on the blade cover.
11. When you cutting the stones and gems, make the items close to the measuring
angle tool then move the angle tool and stones or gems together.
Maintenance
1. Periodically check the machine’s situation, you can turn on the machine see
whether the machine runs well.
2. Check the cutting blade, if there is any damage on the blade we highly advice
you to change a new one
3. After half a year, you can change the carbon brush by yourself. The carbon
brush is inside of the machine and outside of the machine on the two sides you
can see where it can change it
Repair service
Factory repairs are done promptly and at reasonable cost. If you wish, you can send
your equipment directly to the factory
LIMITED WARRANTY
The TM L2 dust collector hood warrants that the machine is to be free of defects in
material or workmanship for a period of 1 year after purchasing. During the warranty
period, the defective product will be repaired or replaced without charge or at our
option, the purchase price will be refuned. This warranty does not cover damage
caused by transition or accident, misuse, or ordinary wear.
All IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
WARRANTIES OF FITNESS AND MERCHANTABILTY, ARE HEREBY
LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD ENDING ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF
PURCHASE, AND WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY
SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
