Power on/off
To turn on the player, make sure the switch is in the “ON”
position and press and HOLD the button until the display lights
up.
To turn off the player, press and HOLD the button until the display
shuts off, or slide the switch to the “OFF” position
(shutting the player this way is quicker but the last changes in the
settings, or last player song will not be saved).

Charging the battery
1. Connect the MP3 Player to your computer using the included USB cable
2. Charge the battery between 3 and 5 hours. (Do not charge for more than 8 hours).
Battery level indication:
indicates that the battery is full
indicates low battery; the player should be charged as soon as possible

Transferring media to the player
1.Find music, picture, or video files on your computer. 2. Connect the MP3 Player to your computer, and locate “MP3.
3. Drag the files into the player as shown below.
When you are done, disconnect your MP3 Player from the computer using the “Safe Device Removal” utility in the taskbar.
Important: Do not disconnect the MP3 Player from the PC while transferring files as doing so will damage your MP3 Player and your files.

Use the or button to select an item, and press the button to confirm your selection.

Pausing playback
• While a song is playing, press the button to pause the playback.
• To resume the playback, press the button once again.
To play music
• Select “music” from the main menu and press the button to confirm.
• Press the button to start playing.
Skipping tracks
• Press the button to go back to the previous track.
• Press the button to skip to the next track.
Searching backward or forward within a track
• Press and HOLD the button to fast rewind within a track.
• Press and HOLD the button to fast forward within a track.
Changing the volume
• Press the button to decrease the player volume.

To set play mode
The play mode setting enables you to select a play mode to enjoy the music in a desired order.
1. Press the button while listening to music. The music menu appears on the screen.
2. Press the or button to select “Repeat”, and press the button to confirm. The play mode menu
appears on the screen.
3. Use the or button to select the desired mode and press the button to confirm and exit.
The following play modes are available:
No Repeat: Play all saved music files in order once.
Repeat One: Play the current or selected music file repeatedly.
Repeat All: Play all music files in order repeatedly.
Random All: Play all music files in random repeatedly.
Dir Normal: Play all music files in the current folder in order once.
Dir All Repeat: Play all music files in the current folder repeatedly.
Dir Random All: Play all music files in the current folder in random.
To set the equalizer
The equalizer setting enables you to select an equalizer from the six preset equalizer settings to suit the type of
audio output, or customize your personal equalizer effect.
1. Press the button while listening to music. The music menu appears on the screen.
2. Use the or button to select “Equalizer”, and press the button to confirm. The Equalizer menu
appears on the screen.
3. Use the or button to select the desired Equalizer from Normal,Pop, Rock, Classic, Jazz and Bass.
4. Press the button to confirm and exit.

Windows Media Player allows you to organize your media collection,
Player is not installed on your computer, you can get the latest version
by going to
www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/download/
Getting music from your CDs onto your computer:
You can use Windows Media Player to copy, or “Rip”, music from
your audio CDs.
1. Open Windows Media Player.
2. Click on the “Rip” tab.
3. Insert a music CD into your computer’s CD drive.
4. Click the checkboxes to select which tracks to Rip.
5. Click “Start Rip.

Windows Media Player gives you an easy way to add, or “Sync”,
music to your MP3 Player.
1. Open Windows Media Player.
2. Connect your MP3 Player to the computer using the USB cable.
3. Click on the “Sync” tab in Windows Media Player.
4. Drag media files to your MP3 Player within Windows Media Player.
5. Click the “Start Sync” button.

You may also transfer music or other media files by dragging/copying
them directly into your player.

Normal Mode:
1. Press the or button to tune the radio manually trough the FM
dial.
2. Press and HOLD the or button for one second to tune forward
or backward to the next available station.
To save a station to the preset list:
1. Press the button while in Normal Mode.
2. Press the or button to select “Save Preset” from the music
menu and press the button The station will now be saved and the
player will go to Preset Mode automatically. To switch back to Normal
Mode, press the button.
Preset Mode:
You can save up to 30 preset stations for your enjoyment.
1. Press the or button to tune the radio to the previous or next
preset station.
2. To delete a preset station, make sure you are in Preset Mode, tune to
the station you would like to delete and press the button.
3. Select “Del Station” an press the button to confirm.
Autoscan:
1. To make the player autoscan and save all available stations to your
preset list, press the button in either Normal or Preset mode,
select Autoscan” and press the button to confirm.
2. The player will scan through all available stations and save them to
your Preset list.
Note: selecting Autoscan” will erase your previously saved preset
stations and replace them with all available stations in your area.
Recording FM Radio:
1. While listening to FM Radio, press the button, select the
“Record” option and press the button to confirm. The player
starts recording automatically.
2. To stop recording press the button again.
3. To continue recording within the same file, press the button again.
4. To stop recording, save and exit to the main menu press the
button.
To listen to your FM Recorded files:
1. Select “voice” from the main menu and press the button to
confirm.
2. Press the button, select “File Browse” and press the
button to confirm.
3. Press the button again and select “FMIN.DIR” and press the
button to confrim.
4. You can now browse your recorded FM Radio files and press the
button to listen to your choice.

to start playing the selected video.

Using the Video Converter
Before transferring video files to the MP3 Player, you must convert them to the correct format. Use the Video Converter provided on the included
CD to convert most video files to the correct format suitable for the player.
To open the Video Converter:
1. Insert the CD into the CD drive of your computer.
2. Click on “Video Converter” on the screen that opens.
3. Click on “Open” and the Video Converter will appear.

Desktop
Choose “Desktop” and save the converted
video to the Desktop of your computer.
After saving the converted video to your
desktop, you can transfer it directly to
your player.
Choose “MP3”to send the converted
video directly to your player and click “OK”.
NOTE: To send a converted video directly
to your player, it must be connected to the
computer’s USB port at time of conversion.
Converting videos:
1. Connect the MP3 Player to a USB port on your computer
(optional).
2. Click on “Input Video” and then find and select a video to
convert.
3. Click on “Output Video” to select the destination for the
converted video. You can send it directly to your player by
selecting “MP3” and clicking “OK”, or if you would like to save
the converted video to your computer, we recommend sending it
to your “Desktop” where you can easily find the video and
transfer it to the player.
Note: To send a converted video directly to your player, it must by
connected to the computer’s USB port at the time of conversion.

Voice recorder
Your player has the ability to record and play back voice memos recorded using the built-in microphone.
To record voice memos:
1. Select “record” from the main menu and press the button to
confirm. The player will start recording automatically.
2. To stop recording press the button again.
3. To continue recording within the same voice memo file, press the
button again.
4. To save the recording and exit to the main menu press the
button.
To play back recorded voice memos:
1. Select “voice from the main menu and press the button to
confirm.
2. Press the or button to select a voice memo file.
3. Press the button to begin playback.
4. During the playback, press and HOLD the or previous
button to fast forward or rewind within a track.

1. Select “delete from the main menu and press the button to
confirm (this will take you to the “File Browsescreen).
2. Press the button and then the button to enter the Delete
Mode.
3. Use the or button to select file or files you would like to delete
and press the button to confirm. This will place a check in the file
box.
4. Press the button and select “Delete.
5. Select “Yes” to delete selected file or files. Press the button to
confirm.
6. Select “No to return to “File Browse” screen.
Note: If you select “No” you will then be in File Browse mode only. To
return to Delete Files mode you must return to the Main Menu and
repeat steps 1 through 6.

System settings
To access the System Settings, select “settings” from the main menu and press the button to confirm.
System Settings options:
Time: Change the date and time displayed on the player.
Power: Set the Auto-Off timer. This timer turns the player off after the choosen period of inactivity to conserve battery power.
Choose “Close to disable Auto-Off timer.
Language: Change the display language of the player.
Display Setting: Change how long the backlight stays on. Choose Off” to disable the backlight auto-off.
Record Setting: Change the microphone recording type and quality.
System Tools: Format, Reset or view system information.
