please read the operation manual carefully before using. Keep this operation manual for
future reference.

The unit is designed for 12V DC negative ground operation system only. Before installing
the unit, make sure your vehicle is connected to DC 12V negative ground electrical system.
The negative battery terminal must be disconnected before making connections. By doing
so, it can reduce the chance of damaging the unit to short circuit.
Be sure to connect the colour coded leads correctly accordingly to the wiring diagram.
Incorrect connections may cause the unit malfunction or damage the vehicle’s electrical
system.
Be sure to connect the speaker(-) leads to the speaker(-) terminal. Never connect the left
and right channel speaker wires together or to the vehicle body.
Do not block vents or radiator panels of the unit. Blocking them will cause heat to build up
inside the unit and may cause damage or fire.
After the completion of installation (or after replacing the battery of vehicle), make sure to
press the RESET button on the main unit with pointed object (such as ball-point pen) to set
the unit to its initial status.

R/RW / MP4 / DivX / AVI / SVCD / VCD / MP3 / WMA / CD-R/RW / JPEG
- Do not attempt to modify the unit, modifying the unit may cause the malfunction and
damage of the unit.
- Stop the vehicle before carrying out any operation that could interfere with your driving.
- Do not work in extreme high or low temperature. The normal temperature for operation
is between -20 and +60 degree Celsius.
- To enjoy optimum sound and images while playing, handle the discs as follows:
. to hold the discs by the edge so the surface will not be damaged with finger prints
. do not attach label or sticker to the discs surface
. do not put paste residue or ink on the surface of discs
. wipe the discs with a dry soft cloth from the center gold toward the outer edge
. do not bend the discs
. do not store the discs in the following places: areas exposed to direct sunlight, humid
or dusty.

To Detach the Front Panel
Before detaching the front
panel, be sure to turn off the
unit. Press the release button
and the front panel will fold
down to the level, slide the
front panel to the right and
pull it off forward you.
To Replace the Front Panel
First, insert the right hand side
of the front panel into the
main unit. Then push the left
hand side of the front panel
into the main unit until it locks
firmly.
Precautions
Do not touch the connectors
on the front panel and main
unit, it will result in poor
electrical contact. Only wipe
the connectors with a clean
and dry cloth. Put the front
panel into the carry case after

RESET OF THE UNIT
Operating the unit for the first time or after replacing the car battery, it is necessary to reset
the unit. Press RESET (1) on the main unit with a pointed object (such as a ball point pen)
to reset the unit to initial setting by the factory (default stage). When there are errors occur
or malfunction appears on the unit, press RESET (1) can also resume the unit to default
stage. It will also erase all the setting and memorized functions of the unit.
POWER ON/OFF CONTROL
Press (2) to turn on the unit, press it again to turn off the unit. All the memorized setting
will retain after the unit turned off.
MODE SELECTOR
Continuously pressing MOD (6) to choose your desired modes among radio, disc, USB
input, SD/MMC card input and auxiliary input operation.
VOLUME & AUDIO CONTROL
Rotate VOLUME CONTROL (8) clockwise to increase the sound level, rotate it anti-
clockwise to decrease the sound level. Continuously pressing FUNCTION SELECTOR (8)
to activate the following audio control modes: BASS (BAS) Æ TREBLE (TRE) Æ
BALANCE (BAL) Æ FADER (FAD) Æ VOLUME (VOL) Æ, by rotating FUNCTION
SELECTOR (8) clockwise or anti-clockwise to have your desired setting.
Note
When preset equalizer control is in activated, bass and treble will resume to its default stage.
PRESET EQUALIZER CONTROL
Press and hold FUNCTION SELECTOR (8) for two seconds to activate the preset equalizer,
rotate FUNCTION SELECTOR (8) clockwise or anti-clockwise to select your desired audio
equalization in the following orders: ļ DSP OFF ļ CLASSIC ļ POP ļ ROCK ļ
Note
When preset equalizer control is activated, bass and treble will resume to its default stage.
MUTE CONTROL
Press MUTE (10) to cut down the sound output, press it again to release the mode and
recover to the previous volume level.
USB SLOT
Insert USB device to the USB SLOT (24) to have playback of multi-media files that recorded.
SD/MMC CARD PORT
Insert SD/MMC card to the SD/MMC CARD PORT (25) to have playback of multi-media
files that recorded.

AUXILIARY INPUT JACK
Insert an external device to this AUX IN (12) jack in order to have output of that external
device through the unit.
CLOCK DISPLAY & ADJUSTMENT
During unit operation, press CLK (7) to recall the time display on LCD DISPLAY (5). Press
it again or after 5 seconds, the LCD DISPLAY (5) will return to its original status.
Time Setting
At clock display mode, press and hold CLK (7) until the hour digit starts blinking. Rotary
FUNCTION SELECTOR (8) clockwise or anti-clockwise to adjust the hour and confirm the
setting by pressing CLK (7), it will then change to minute setting. Rotary FUNCTION
SELECTOR (8) clockwise or anti-clockwise to adjust minute setting and confirm the setting
by pressing CLK (7).
LCD DISPLAY
The LCD DISPLAY (5) shows the status of operation on the unit.
REMOTE CONTROL SENSOR
Using the remote control handset to operate different functions of the unit by pointing the
remote control handset to the remote control sensor IR (4) and press the control key on the
remote control handset for operation.
RELEASE OF FRONT PANEL
Press (3) to fold down the front panel to the level. After the folded down of front panel,
you can detach the removable front panel from the main unit for anti-theft security purpose.

RADIO BAND SELECTOR
At radio mode, repeatedly pressing BAND SELECTOR (11) to select the desired radio band
in the following orders: Æ FM1 Æ FM2 Æ FM3 Æ AM1(MW1) Æ AM2(MW2) Æ
MANUAL TUNING UP/DOWN
At radio mode, press ŹŹű/ŲŻŻ (13) for two seconds to activate the manual tuning mode.
At this manual tuning mode, press ŹŹű/ŲŻŻ (13) repeatedly to tune the radio frequency
upward or downward to your desired frequency. When a radio station signal is received,
pressing the preset number 1 – 6 (14) for 2 seconds can store the station on the respective
preset number. In case the manual tuning mode has not been operated for 5 seconds, it
will resume to automatic tuning mode.
AUTOMATIC SEEK UP/DOWN
At radio mode, press ŹŹű/ŲŻŻ (13) for automatic seeking the frequency upward or
downward to the next strong station received. By pressing the preset number 1 – 6 (14) for
two seconds can store the station on the respective preset number.
AUTO MEMORY STORE
At radio mode, press APS (15) for two seconds to start searching from the current
frequency and storing the strongest signal stations into the corresponding preset station
number 1 – 6 (14). The searching will stop until one cycle search is finished.
AUTO MEMORY SCAN
At radio mode, press APS (15) shortly to scan all the preset stations on the selected radio
band and stop for several seconds on each preset station scanned. During scanning, press
APS (15) again to stop this scanning and the current radio station will be broadcasted.
PRESET MEMORY
At radio mode, press any one of the preset number 1 – 6 (14) button to select a station
which had been stored in the memory. Press any one of the preset number 1 – 6 (14)
button for two seconds can store the current broadcasting station in the memory. This unit
can store up to 30 stations (FM1 x 6, FM2 x 6, FM3 x 6, AM1 x 6, AM2 x 6).
MONO / STEREO CONTROL
Press the MO/ST (9) to select stereo or mono mode. The desired mode “STEREO” or
“MONO” will appear on the LCD DISPLAY (5) shortly. When stereo signal is received,
stereo indicator will appear on LCD DISPLAY (5).

MODE SELECTION
During unit operation, press MOD (6) repeatedly to select the disc mode, USB input mode
and SD/MMC card input mode for your desired operation.
INSERT & EJECT OF DISC
To insert a disc, put it into the DISC SLOT (16), the unit will automatically insert the disc into
the mechanism and start playing. To eject the disc from the DISC SLOT (16), press the
(17) button and disc will automatically come out.
USB SLOT
Insert USB device to the USB SLOT (24) to play media files that recorded. The device will
have playback automatically after the USB device inserted.
SD / MMC CARD PORT
Insert SD or MMC card to the SD/MMC CARD PORT (25) to play media files that recorded.
The device will have playback automatically after the SD/MMC card inserted.
PLAY & PAUSE
At disc or USB/SD/MMC device playback mode, press Źűű(18) to pause playback and
“PAUSE” appears on the LCD DISPLAY (5). Press it again to resume to normal playback.
SELECT TRACKS
At disc or USB/SD/MMC device playback mode, press ŹŹű/ŲŻŻ (13) repeatedly to
choose tracks upward or downward for playback.
TRACK FAST FORWARD / FAST REWIND
At disc or USB/SD/MMC device playback mode, press and hold ŹŹű/ŲŻŻ (13) for two
seconds to fast forward or fast rewind the track. Press on time for x2, two times for x4, three
times for x8, four times for x20, 5 times for returning to normal playback. During fast
forward or fast rewind mode, press Źűű(18) to resume to normal playback.
REVIEW ALL TRACKS
At disc or USB/SD/MMC device playback mode, press INT (19) to play first 10 seconds of
each track of the disc or device. During intro play, “INT” appears on the LCD DISPLAY (5).
Press it again to stop intro play and playback will resume on the current track.
REPEAT PLAYBACK
At disc or USB/SD/MMC device playback mode, press RPT (20) to continuously repeat
playback the same track/chapter/title of the disc or device. During repeat playback mode,
“RPT” appears on the LCD DISPLAY (5). Press it again to stop this repeat playback.

RANDOM PLAYBACK
At disc or USB/SD/MMC device playback mode, press RDM (21) to play all tracks on disc or
device in random order and “RDM” appears on the LCD DISPLAY (5). Press it again to
resume to normal playback at the current track.
VIDEO SYSTEM SELECTOR
At video playback mode, press NUMBER BUTTON 5 (22) continuously to select the video
system in PAL / NTSC / AUTO modes.
AUDIO CHANNELS SELECTOR
At video playback mode, press NUMBER BUTTON 6 (23) continuously to select the audio
output channels that recorded in the devices.

card input and auxiliary input operation.

(11) key continuously to repeat playback of the same chapter, title, track or the whole

During disc & USB/SD/MMC input operation mode, use GOTO (9) key for desired playback
setting on screen (an external device not included in this unit). Depended on the disc & file
type and at playback mode, press GOTO (9) key and by using the directional Ÿ/ź/Ż/Ź (4)
and ENTER (6) keys to set on screen the desired tracks, title, chapter or time for playback.
AUDIO CHANNEL SELECTION (

During disc & USB/SD/MMC playback mode, press (20) to select different audio output
channels that recorded in the device.
SUB-TITLE SELECTION (SUB-T)
During DVD & USB/SD/MMC playback mode, press SUB-T (10) to select different sub-title
that recorded on DVD or the devices.
TITLE / PBC / MENU SELECTOR (TITLE / PBC / MENU)
DVD Mode
At DVD playback mode, press TITLE (18) or MENU (5) to show on screen (an external
device not included in this unit) the menu of the entire disc. By using the Ÿ/ź/Ż/Ź (4) and
ENTER (6) keys to select and set on screen your desired mode and tracks for playback.
VCD Mode
At VCD playback mode, press MENU (5) will start the sequence playback at the beginning.
USB/SD/MMC Input Mode
At video & photo playback mode, press TITLE (18) will stop the playback and the screen
(external device not included in this unit) will show the chapter and title of the device that
played.
SYSTEM SETUP (SET UP)
During disc playback / USB input / SD/MMC card input mode, press SET UP (8) to start the
system set up. A setup menu appears on screen (the unit has to be connected to an
external screen that is not included in the unit). By using Ÿ/ź/Ż/Ź (4) and ENTER (6)
keys to make the setup of system, language, audio, video, speaker and digital output.
Press SET UP (8) again to resume the screen to its original status.
VIDEO SYSTEM SELECTOR
At video playback mode, press LO/DX (7) to select the video system in PAL / NTSC / AUTO
modes.
MEDIA SELECTOR
At playback mode, press the number key 4 / 5 / 6 (25 / 26 / 27) to shift playback among
audio files, photo files and video files respectively (available on disc or device with different
media files recorded).

No power
- Check and make sure the connecting wires are connected correctly
- Check whether the fuse is blown. Replace with the proper value fuse if necessary.
No sound
- Check and make sure the speaker wires are connected correctly.
No picture
- Check whether the video wire is connected to the video device.
Unit hand-up
- Press the RESET button to reset the unit to its default stage.
No function when pressing the buttons
- Press the RESET button to reset the unit to its default stage.
Poor effect or unable to receive radio
- Check whether the radio antenna is inserted or properly connected.
- Antenna may not be the proper length. Make sure the antenna is fully extended.
- Antenna may be poorly grounded. Check and make sure the antenna is properly grounded.
Stereo cannot be received under radio mode
- Tune the radio frequency accurately.
- The broadcasting signal is too week, set the mode to MONO.
Disc inserted but cannot play
- Check whether the disc inserted upside down.
- Check whether the disc is dirty or badly cracked.
- Lens is dirty. Clean lens by using the lens clean disc.
Picture without colour or no sound under disc/USB/SD/MMC playback mode
- Improper setting of colour system. Set again to “PAL” or “NTSC”.
- The disc is dirty or damaged. Wipe the disc with a dry soft cloth or replace a new disc.
Abnormal moving, skipping or sound during playback
- The disc is dirty or damaged. Wipe the disc with a dry soft cloth or replace a new disc.
Remote handset does not work
- Replace new battery of the remote handset.
- Point the remote handset directly at the remote sensor of the main unit.
- Clean the surface of the remote sensor.
Note
After the above efforts, if the unit still cannot be worked normally, consult your service
dealer. Never attempt to disassemble the unit by yourself. No service part inside the unit.
