Instructions
Operating Principle
Humid air is drawn into the unit and cooled. Water droplets condense and drop
into the water tank. Dried air is then released back into the room.
Operating Instructions
1. To start. Unpack the unit. Ensure the air outlet grill on the top of the unit is
open and plug into a wall plug. The buzzer sounds once and the run light will
blink. Press the on/off button once and the run light will be on, the continuous
light will be on and the humidity /time display window will show the current
reading. To switch off, press the on/off button once, note the fan will still be
heard for a few seconds afterwards.
2. To set the humidity level. Press the up or down arrow to the level you
require. Humidity can be set between RH26% and RH90% (note the actual
humidity measured is approximate). If the level is set below 26, the reading
will show CO and will dehumidify continuously. If the set humidity is higher
than the current actual humidity the unit will not start operating until it
becomes lower.
3. To set the timer to switch on the machine. Press the on button and
press the timer on button once. The timer on light will blink and the
humidity/time display will show 00. The timer can be set for 0 to 24 hours, in
multiples of 1 hour. Press the up button for the number of hours in the future
you want the unit to turn on. e.g. select 2 for 2 hours time. The timer on light
will be on. To cancel the setting, press the timer on button again and the timer
on light will go out. The unit will now turn on automatically at your desired
time.
4.To set the timer to turn off the machine. Press the timer off button and
the timer off light will blink. The humidity/time display will show 00. Press the
up button for the number of hours in the future you want the unit to turn off.
e.g. select 2 for 2 hours time. The timer off light will be on. To cancel the
setting, press the timer on button again and the timer on light will go out. The
unit will now turn off automatically at your desired time.
5. The timer settings will need to be set each time the unit is operated as there is
no memory function. You may set a time on only, a time off only or a time on
followed by a time off.
6. Display error codes. If the humidity/time display shows E1, E2 or E3, the
unit is detecting an error. E1 shows that the temperature sensor is faulty, E2
the humidity sensor is faulty, and E3 is low gas sensor. If these error messages
occur, try unplugging the unit and start again. If they still show, the unit is
faulty and should not be used.

7. Water Tank. When the water tank is full, the full light will be lit. The unit will
stop functioning automatically. Switch off, unplug, and empty the tank and
restart. Take care not to spill the water onto the unit in any way.
8.Continuous Drainage. If the unit is set to CO for continuous dehumidifying,
it is recommended that you follow this additional procedure. Remove the
rubber cap on the drainage outlet at the rear of the unit, pull out the water
tank, and place the cap on the drainage outlet inside the dehumidifier. Connect
your own drainage pipe (not supplied) to the drainage outlet at the rear of the
unit. Replace the water tank and set the dehumidifier to CO use. The required
drainage hose diameter is 10mm. Always ensure the drainage hose can not
become blocked by debris or frozen if routed outside.
9. Ice Cup. The top of the water tank has a small cup area that can be used to
fill with ice. This will increase the speed of the dehumidifying process.
10. Filter. From time to time, pull out the filter and rinse under a tap with clean
water. Use a very soft brush to remove any particles. Fully dry before
replacing.
11. Important notes.
• Do not use in a bathroom, or any other room where there is a risk the unit may
get wet.
• Do not let children operate the dehumidifier or leave it in use where children
are unattended.
• Do not cover the unit. Ensure the air outlet grill is away from objects such as
curtains or shelves by at least 50cm. There must be at least 20cm clearance
around the sides of the unit.
• Do not use if the unit, cable or plug is damaged in any way.
• Do not insert any object or fingers into the air outlet grill.
• Do not sit on the unit.
• Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be pulled accidentally.
• Disconnect from the wall socket before cleaning. After use, pull the plug from
the wall socket. Never pull out the plug by the cable.
• Always place the unit on a flat stable heat resistant surface.
• For indoor use only.
• For domestic use only.
• Should the fuse need to be replaced, only replace with a BS1362 13amp rated
fuse.
• If the dehumidifier is to be out of use for a while, always unplug, empty and
dry the water tank and store in a frost free place.
PACKAGING DISPOSAL:
• Dispose of the packaging at your local recycling centre.
• Dispose of paper and carton separately from plastic bags at your local recycling
centre.

household waste recycling centre.
