Excessivesoundpressurefromearphonesandheadphonescancause
hearingloss.Adjustmentoftheequalizertomaximumincreasesthe
earphoneandheadphoneoutputvoltageandthesoundpressurelevel.
Therefore,toprotectyourhearing,adjusttheequalizertoanappropriate
level.
Excessiveuseofheadphonesorearphonesforalongperiodoftimeat
highvolumecanbedangerousiftheoutputoftheheadphoneorearphone
connectorsdonotcomplywithspecicationsofEN50332-2.Theheadphone
outputconnectorofyourtabletcomplieswithEN50332-2Subclause7.This
specicationlimitsthetablet'smaximumwidebandtrueRMSoutputvoltageto
150mV.Tohelpprotectagainsthearingloss,ensurethattheheadphonesor
earphonesyouusealsocomplywithEN50332-2(Clause7limits)forawideband
characteristicvoltageof75mV.UsingheadphonesthatdonotcomplywithEN
50332-2canbedangerousduetoexcessivesoundpressurelevels.
Ifyourtabletcamewithheadphonesorearphonesinthepackage,asaset,the
combinationoftheheadphonesorearphonesandthetabletalreadycomplies
withthespecicationsofEN50332-1.Ifdifferentheadphonesorearphonesare
used,ensurethattheycomplywithEN50332-1(Clause6.5LimitationValues).
UsingheadphonesthatdonotcomplywithEN50332-1canbedangerousdueto
excessivesoundpressurelevels.

BatteriesorpackagingforbatteriesarelabeledinaccordancewithEuropean
Directive2006/66/ECconcerningbatteriesandaccumulatorsandwastebatteries
andaccumulators.TheDirectivedeterminestheframeworkforthereturnand
recyclingofusedbatteriesandaccumulatorsasapplicablethroughoutthe
EuropeanUnion.Thislabelisappliedtovariousbatteriestoindicatethatthe
batteryisnottobethrownaway,butratherreclaimeduponendoflifeperthis
Directive.
InaccordancewiththeEuropeanDirective2006/66/EC,batteriesand
accumulatorsarelabeledtoindicatethattheyaretobecollectedseparatelyand
recycledatendoflife.Thelabelonthebatterymayalsoincludeachemical
symbolforthemetalconcernedinthebattery(Pbforlead,Hgformercury,andCd
forcadmium).Usersofbatteriesandaccumulatorsmustnotdisposeofbatteries
andaccumulatorsasunsortedmunicipalwaste,butusethecollectionframework
availabletocustomersforthereturn,recycling,andtreatmentofbatteriesand
accumulators.Customerparticipationisimportanttominimizeanypotential
effectsofbatteriesandaccumulatorsontheenvironmentandhumanhealthdue
