1
Time control knob: time can be set
for up to 4 hours.
2
Temperature control knob:
temperature can be set between 30 -
70°C
If a fast drying results desired, turn the
temperature control knob to the max and
set the timer control knob to two hours.
6. HINTS AND TIPS
All types of washing, wet clothes,
shoes and equipment can be dried
just as gently as required in a drying
cabinet.
The load should be hung up to dry in
a way which allows air to circulate
efficiently. Items should be distributed
evenly throughout the drying cabinet.
www.electrolux.com10
Do not overload the hangers. Use
more than one arm on the hangers to
support heavy items.
The temperature used must not be
too high for the specific load. Garment
care labels may provide useful
information on suitable temperatures.
To be dried at ”normal”
temperature 70°C
To be dried at ”low” temperature
no more than 50°C
Guidelines in the absence of labelling:
- Cotton and linen 70°C
- Synthetics, wool, silk 30 – 50°C
When drying shoes or boots, the base
of the drying cabinet can be protected
with newspaper or equivalent, which
can be discarded later.
Using a drying cabinet allows you to
control not only the drying time and
temperature, but also the level of energy
consumption. The drying cabinet has a
built-in thermostat and timer. The
temperature control knob has a range of
0 – 70°C, and the timer can be set for up
to 4 hours. The drying cabinet is started
and stopped by means of the timer
control.
In houses with mechanical ventilation
systems there is frequently the option of
accelerating the total exhaust air flow
from the ventilation system. If experience
shows that the air humidity is frequently
too high when the drying cabinet is in
use, this humidity can be reduced
significantly if the air flow is accelerated
at the start of the drying time.
7. CARE AND CLEANING
WARNING!
Before carrying out any
operations, remove the plug
from the power socket.
Use only water and a soap solution for
cleaning the drying cabinet.
CAUTION!
Never use volatile solvents
If water accumulates inside the base of
the dryer it should be removed with a
sponge or cloth. The base of the drying
cabinet should be kept as clean as
possible at all times. It will generally be
dry, in which case it can be cleaned with
a vacuum cleaner.
