Hasbro Home Run Derby is a tabletop baseball game that simulates the experience of being a professional baseball player. The game includes a pitching machine, a batting tee, two bats (a regular-sized bat and a rookie-sized bat), a backstop, a batter, six baseballs, two outfield fences, an exploding scoreboard, and a game console.

The game is played by inserting the baseballs into the pitching machine and then pressing the "ON" button. The pitching machine will automatically pitch the baseballs towards the batter. The batter can then swing the bat to try to hit the baseball. If the batter hits the baseball, it will fly towards the scoreboard. If the baseball hits the scoreboard, the batter will score runs. The game is over after 10 swings. The player with the most runs at the end of the game wins.
