Your robot has a Weekly Timer feature that enables
you to set an automatic cleaning schedule for
the week ahead.
When the power supply is switched on, you can press the
Weekly Timer button to select one of the following cleaning
schedule options for the week ahead:

Weekly Timer
The robot will automatically work every day for a full cycle,

When the LED under the Fast mode icon is lit: The robot will work in fast mode.
In this mode, the cycle duration is one hour and the robot cleans the pool floor only.
Note: Once Fast Mode is selected, the robot will continue to work in Fast Mode every time. To revert
to the standard cleaning method, press the button. The LED under the Full Cycle icon will light up.
After selecting one of the above options, the robot will start to operate at the next occurrence
of the programmed start time.
Note: A fourth click will cancel the cleaning schedule program (without a visible indication).
If the robot is working in Weekly Timer mode, the Weekly Timer button constantly blinks between cycles.
At the end of the week, the power supply automatically switches off and you need to reschedule the robot.

Delayed Operation
Your robot has a Delay feature that enables you to delay the cleaning
start time. This delay allows the dirt to settle at the bottom of the pool.
When the Power supply is switched on, you can press the Delayed Operation
to delay the cleaning start time.
When the LED under the Delayed Operation icon is lit:
The robot will automatically start working after a two-hour delay.
During that time, the ON button continuously blinks, waiting to start.
Once started, the ON button blinks continuously until the robot starts working.
This is a one-time operation. Delayed Operation needs to be activated each time it is required.
Bluetooth Connection
Your robot has a Bluetooth® Connection indicator. When the LED indicator is on,
it indicates that the smartphone paired with the robot is identified nearby.
This only works if the phone’s Bluetooth® is activated.

Quick start guide
Unplug the power supply before servicing.
Do not pull the Pool cleaner from the pool
using the cable.
Use the Pool Cleaner in the following water
conditions only: Chlorine Max 4 ppm;
pH 7.0 - 7.8; Temperature 6 -34°C (43-93°F);
NaCI Maximum = 5000 ppm.

Use the originally supplied power supply only.
Do not use an extension cable in any case
whatsoever.
Ensure the electrical outlet is protected by
a ground fault interrupter (GFI) or an earth
leakage interrupter.
Keep the power supply out of standing water.
Do not enter the pool while the Pool Cleaner
is working.
When working, the Power Supply should be
placed in the shade.
If the pool robot is fitted with combined or
wonder brushes, gently aqueeze the brushes
until they are soaked with water.
Release minimal required floating cable
length to ensure proper pool coverage. Leave
excess cable rolled outside the pool.
Dolphin X40 PLUS
Thank you for purchasing a Maytronics Robotic Pool Cleaner.
After each cleaning cycle wash the filter bag or
cartridge. Clogged filter bags reduce scanning
and cleaning efficiency.
Once a week unplug the cable from the power
supply, unwind the tangled portions of the
cable, straighten it out and leave it in the sun
for several houres.
Store the pool cleaner in a shady place on
its Caddy, if not on a caddy, place the pool
cleaner upside down.

Position the power supply at least 3m/10ft
Turn the power supply ON.
The Pool Cleaner will now
operate until it has reached

It is highly reccomended to clean the filter basket after each cleaning cycle.
Note: Don’t let the filter cartridges dry out before cleaning.
Unplug the power supply before servicing
Clean the debris trapped in the impeller opening,
according to the following steps:
Lift up the basket.
Open the latch to
release the bottom
lid in order to remove
the debris.
Clean the filter basket
with a hose.
Open the filter cover.
If you notice debris trapped in the impeller:
Coil the cable and store in a cool, dry place on the Caddy.
Do NOT store the robot where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, excessive heat or to frost.
Unplug the power supply before servicing
Put the Pool

Dismantle the 4 ultra-fine filter panels of the outer basket according to the following steps:
