1. Connecting to water mains
- Connections to the mains water supply must be carried out by a qualified technician in compliance with
the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable local safety regulations.
- All local Water Board regulations must be complied with. Water supply pressure: 0.03 - 1.0 MPa.
- The inlet hose must be securely clamped to the water tap to prevent leaks.
- The inlet water temperature varies according to the model installed. Inlet hose marked: "25°C Max": up
to a maximum of 25°C. Other models: up to a maximum of 60°C.
- Depending on the appliance model, the magnet valve of the inlet hose will be driven by the mains
voltage (see ** page 23).
- Make sure the inlet and drain hoses are kink-free and are not crushed.
- Fix the drain hose to the spigot with a clamp to prevent it from coming off during operation.
- On installation, make sure water can drain freely (take the spigot cladding off if necessary).
- Do not use old or damaged hoses. Use only the hoses provided or new ones, which can be requested
from the After-Sales Service.
- If hoses are not long enough, contact your local dealer.
- Do not cut hoses, and the plastic box containing the connection to the water mains in appliances with a
water cut-off system must not be under water.
- Before using the appliance for the first time, check water inlet and water drain for leaks.
2. Connecting to mains electricity
- All local Electricity Board regulations must be complied with.
- Voltage information is shown on the rating plate mounted inside the door on the right hand side.
- The appliance must be earthed as prescribed by law.
- Do not use extension leads or multi sockets.
- If necessary, the power cable may be replaced with an identical one that can be requested from our
After-Sales Service. The power cable must only be replaced by a qualified technician.
For Austria:
if the apparatus is series connected to a fault current switch, this must be sensitive to the pulsating current.
3. Assembly instructions
- During assembly, unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Set any electrical screwdrivers to a low torque.
- Leave at least 3mm between the top edge of the wooden door and the worktop.
- Do not seal gaps between the appliance and adjacent units / worktop (for example with silicone).
- Attention: When transporting and assembling the appliance, always wear gloves to protect
the fingers / hands from sharp edges and corners.
- If the appliance is installed at the end of a row of fitted units and touching a wall on one side, cover the
hinge area (available from the After-Sales Service).
- Be careful with uneven installation surfaces: regulate the foot height, push the dishwasher carefully
under the worktop.
- After fitting the decorative plates or plinth, before opening the door of the dishwasher, carefully check
if the plinth needs trimming and if so by how much (see page 27), in order to avoid damaging it.
- Protect the cutting edges of furniture units and baseboards from humidity (insulating material such as
silicone, not supplied).
4. General instructions
