quality product.
1. General Information
1.1 Read and retain the operating manual
This operating manual contains important information regarding the safe use of the device as
well as details on day-to-day use and disposal. Carefully familiarize yourself with the operating
manual, paying special attention to the safety instructions before using the device, and use them
only for the application areas and purposes described. If you give the device away or sell them,
please ensure that you also pass on the operating manual. It is part of the product.
1.2 Explanation of symbols used
The following symbols and signal words are used in this operating manual, on the device, or on the
packaging.

2. Safety
2.1 Intended use
This fan is intended to circulate air for cooling. The fan must not be used outside of closed rooms or in regions
with a tropical climate. The fan is not intended for business or commercial use. Use the fan solely for private
purposes in living areas; any other use is deemed improper. Only use the accessories specified by the
manufacturer.
Please observe the national regulations and/or laws of the country in which the device is used.

2.2 Safety Instructions
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put in water or
other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any
manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
6. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
7. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
8. Do not use appliance for any purpose other than its intended use.
9. This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse
indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug
the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing
instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check
the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be
present and the product should be discarded or returned to an
authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

10. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw
rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or
appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not
be tripped over.

Personal safety
This fan can be used by children aged eight and over, as well as by
people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities, or who
lack experience and knowledge, providing they are supervised or
have been instructed in the safe use of the fan and understand the
resulting dangers. Children must not play with the fan. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are
supervised. Also keep the packaging film away from children. There
is a risk of suffocation.
Risk of electric shock!
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
Protect the product against wetness and humidity as well as dripping
or splashed water. Never immerse the product in water or any other
liquid!

Should a liquid get into the product, disconnect the plug immediately.
Have the product inspected by an appropriate specialist before using
it again.
Do not operate the product with moist or wet hands.
Do not reach for the product if it is in water or any other liquid. In
such a case, immediately disconnect the plug from the socket.
Do not use the product if the power plug or connecting cable is
damaged, the product is not working properly or has been dropped
or immersed in water, or in case of any other damage. Contact an
appropriate specialist for repair in such cases.
Only connect the product to a socket that is properly installed and
easily accessible, with a mains voltage that corresponds to the
section ‘Technical data.’ The socket must continue to be easily
accessible after connecting the product.
Ensure that the power cable cannot be damaged by sharp edges or
hot surfaces.
When using the product, make sure the connecting cable is not
pinched or crushed.
Even after it has been switched off, the product is not fully
disconnected from the power supply. To do so, disconnect the plug
from the socket. Always pull on the plug, never on the cable.
Disconnect the plug from the socket:

o When you are not using the product
o During assembly

Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of a defect,
switch the product off, disconnect the plug, and contact our Customer
Service.
If the connecting cable of this product is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, their service department, or by a
similarly qualified person in order to prevent any hazards.
Risk of injury!
Do not stick your fingers or any objects into the product during
operation.
Do not use the product in the vicinity of explosive or inflammable
substances.
Keep hair, clothing, and objects away from the protective grilles
during operation.
Do not transport the product while it is in operation.
Damage to property!
This product is not intended for operation with an external timer or a
separate remote control system.
Never set the product onto hot surfaces (such as a stove top) or near
heat sources or open flame.

Only use the original accessories.
Do not hang or mount the product on the ceiling or wall.
Only operate the product on a flat, stable surface.
Never operate the product in the vicinity of highly flammable
materials such as curtains, drapes, and the like. Keep the product at
least 50 cm away from flammable and combustible materials on all
sides.
The product must not be exposed to direct sources of heat (such as
heaters), direct sunlight, or direct artificial light. Also avoid contact
with splashing and dripping water as well as aggressive liquids. Do
not use the product in the vicinity of water. In particular, the product
must never be immersed (do not place any objects filled with liquids,
for example vases or drinks, on the product). Also make sure that the
product is not exposed to excessive shocks and vibrations.
Furthermore, no foreign bodies should penetrate into the device.

4. Overview
This operating manual includes a cover that can be unfolded. The inside of the cover provides a schematic of
the fan and a number key. The numbers indicate the following:

7. Before Initial Use
7.1 Unpacking
Remove the product from the packaging.
Remove all packaging materials entirely.
Check the package contents for completeness. Contact Service immediately in case of missing
components.
7.2 Assembly
Figure A: Put the front half (9) and the rear half (10) of the base (8) together.
Figure B: First, pass the power cord (13) through the base (8). Next, set the tower fan (1) onto the
base (8) so the four snap lugs (14) engage in the corresponding recesses in the base (8). In addition,
the plastic lug (arrow) on the rear half (10) of the base must engage in the recess (arrow) on the tower
fan (1). Only push on the tower fan (1) with enough force so you hear the snap lugs (14) engage.
Route the power cord (13) under the base (8) as shown in the following illustration:

8. Initial use
8.1 Switching the Fan On and Off
Proceed as follows to put the fan into operation:
Select a location that corresponds to the listed safety instructions.
Operate the fan on a stable level surface.
Connect the plug to a properly installed power socket.
Turn the power on by setting the rotary
switch (2) to the ON position.
Turn the power off by setting the rotary
switch (2) to the OFF position.
8.2 Setting the Fan Level
Low fan level: Press button 1 (6) until it clicks in place.
Medium fan level: Press button 2 (5) until it clicks in place.
High fan level: Press button 3 (4) until it clicks in place.
Stop the fan by pressing the OFF button (7).
8.3 Setting the TIMER
The TIMER allows you to set a running time between 0 and 120 minutes.
Turn on the TIMER by turning the rotary
switch (2) to the desired position between 0
and 120 minutes. This will also power on the
fan.
Please note that precision TIMER settings by
the minute are not possible.
Turn the TIMER off by turning the rotary
switch (2) to the OFF position.

8.4 Oscillation
The fan can oscillate horizontally:
Press the OSC button (3) to the down position to turn on oscillation.
Press the OSC button (3) again to turn off oscillation. The OSC button (3) is now in the up position.
8.5 Change fuse
If the fan shows no function, a defective fuse may be the reason.
Grasp plug and remove from the receptable or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
Open fuse cover: Slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
Remove fuse carefully by using e.g. a small screwdriver.
Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp. 125 Volt fuse (provided with product)
Close fuse cover: Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of the attachmant plug.
9. Cleaning and Care
Risk of electric shock!
Disconnect the fan from the mains network prior to cleaning.
Never immerse the fan in water.
Do not allow water or cleaning agents to run into the fan.
Maintenance work is required if the fan has been damaged, for example if the device housing is damaged,
liquids or objects have gotten inside the fan, or if the fan has been exposed to rain or moisture. Maintenance
work is also required if the device does not work properly or has been dropped. If you notice any smoke,
unusual noises, or smells, disconnect the fan from the mains network immediately. If this happens, you must
stop using the fan until it has been checked by a technician. All maintenance work should only be carried out
by qualified specialists. Never disassemble the housing of the fan yourself.
Remove large dust accumulations with a vacuum cleaner.
Clean the fan using a clean, slightly damp cloth and never use aggressive liquids.
Use a little liquid dishwashing soap on a damp cloth for stubborn stains.
The protective grille can also be cleaned with a soft brush.

10. Storing the Device When Not in Use
If you will not be using the tower fan (1) for an extended period of time, clean it and store it in a safe place
that is free of dust.
11. Environmental information and disposal
Disposal of packaging
Sort the packaging prior to disposal. Dispose of the packaging with the local utility
company.
Disposal of used devices
Do not dispose of used devices together with household waste! If at any time in the
future you should not use this device anymore, please dispose of it in compliance with
the applicable regulations in your state or country. This ensures professional recycling
of used devices and excludes negative consequences for the environment.
Make sure that the disposal is in compliance with local regulations and EPA
recommendations (www.epa.gov).

12. Warranty
3 years limited warranty
What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow the safety and maintenance
instructions provided in the user manual.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);
Improper use or transport;
Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire, water, etc.);
Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrewing screws etc.)

Consequential and incidental damages are also not covered under this warranty. However, some states do
not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion
may not apply to you.
What is the period of coverage and warranty resolution?
The warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase. At our discretion, product will either be refunded or
replaced.
What will we not do?
We will not:
Start a new warranty period upon product exchange;
Repair product.
