JHS Pedals VOLTURE Power Utility Pedal Operating instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the user manual for the JHS PEDALS Volture voltage pedal. This pedal is designed to emulate the sound of a dying 9V battery for analog effect pedals. I understand it has a voltage adjustment knob, footswitch activation, and an LED indicator. I'm ready to answer your questions about this device.
  • What does the Volture pedal do?
How do I adjust the voltage?
Can I use Volture with any pedal?
The Volture is a power utility pedal that allows you to adjust the voltage to emulate the tonal effects of a partially drained
9V battery when placed between the power supply and an analog effect pedal. Turning on the footswitch activates the
Volture voltage drop. When bypassed your pedal receives full voltage. The knob adjusts the voltage level. Clockwise is more,
counterclockwise is less. NOTE: As you turn the voltage down, the LED will dim.

**WARNING**
The Volture should not be paired with any digital/logic circuitry-based pedal, otherwise the user risks potential damage to the pedal
being powered due to inadequate voltage. As long as your pedal is all analog, you’ll be ne. A dying battery never hurt an analog
circuit. In fact, you may be surprised by the trippy sounds you nd lurking in your favorite overdrive or distortion!
