with Stake Housings are in positions 2, 4, 5, and 7.

NOTE: Install batteries into the battery box on the underside of the (D) Head and turn on
to ensure item functions before assembling it. The controls are switch operated, not
button operated. The switch can be toggled through the rubber covering.

Note: The Colossal Spider can either be powered by an
adapter or with 4 C batteries.
When using the adapter while batteries are in the product,
the power will be sourced from the adapter only. However, it
is advised to remove the batteries from the product when
using the adapter.
WARNING: Do not press down on the rubber
covered switch. This is not a button. Pressing on
the switch may damage the item. Please note that
even though the rubber covering does not change
position, the switch beneath it can be toggled
through the rubber covering to any desired setting.

NOTE: Do not overtighten the screws.
OPTIONAL: To adjust the tightness of the rotating
joint, use the Big Hex Key from the (O) Polybag with
Small Parts to adjust the nuts at the joints. A
clockwise motion will tighten the joint and a
counterclockwise motion will loosen the joint as
shown in Figure 7.1.

Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Rechargeable batteries to be removed from the product before being charged.
Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Remove batteries if exhausted or if product is to be left unused for a long time. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Dispose of batteries
safely. DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE, BATTERIES MAY EXPLODE OR LEAK
This mode will turn off lights and sound.
This mode will operate the same as ON mode within a 6HR On/18HR Off period.
This mode will activate lights and sound when the motion sensor is triggered and will
operate for 1 audio-cycle with each activation. The motion sensor will be triggered if
movement is detected up to 3.5m/11.5ft in front of the motion sensor.
This mode will continually operate the lights and sound of the item.
Raise or lower the volume using the volume control turn dial, turn all the way down to turn
the volume off.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Requires 4 x 1.5V C batteries (Not Included)
* You will need a small screwdriver (Not Included).
Locate the battery compartment on the product. Remove the battery compartment cover by using a small Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the screw. After removing or installing the batteries, place
the battery compartment cover into position, and secure the battery cover. DO NOT overtighten screws.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:
The Colossal Spider can either be powered by an adapter or with 4 C batteries. Plug the power adapter into a
standard power outlet or insert 4 x 1.5V C batteries into the battery box. To turn on the Colossal Spider, slide the
rubber covered switch underneath the (D) Head to the desired setting (TIMER, SENSOR, ON). Slide the rubber
covered switch to the OFF position to turn the item off. This switch is not a button. It is a switch with a rubber
covering. Although the rubber covering does not move when the switch is toggled, the user is still able to move
the switch through the rubber covering.
