FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
1. There is a fluffy build up on my stylus after cleaning my records?
To avoid any stylus build-up, please make sure you have washed your microfibre cloths before use,
without using fabric softener.
2. The drying rack is missing?
The drying rack can be found hidden underneath the record sink. You will need to pull it out to use it.
3. There are parts missing from my machine. Do I need to return it?
No. Please contact us if you have any missing parts, and we will be happy to assist you.
4. Does the machine come with a warranty?
Yes, we offer a 500 record cleaning guarantee. If your parts need replacing before you have cleaned 500
records, just contact us and we’ll replace them for free.
5. What type of water can I use with my machine?
Either distilled or deionised water. Most customers use deionised as it is generally cheaper and easier to
find than distilled.
SETUP
1. Unpack your SPINCARE® Record Cleaning Machine
from the box.
2. Important – Please wash the microfibre cleaning
cloths before use (do not use fabric softener).
3. Remove the lid and drying rack from underneath the
record sink.
4. Insert the brush rollers into the machine. There are 3
positions - 7”, 10” and 12”.
5. Fill the sink with distilled or deionised water (not tap
water), so the level is just underneath the brush rollers.
6. Add 4 capfuls of record cleaning fluid between the
cleaning brushes. This will clean 25-50 records.
CLEANING
1. Insert the first record you want to clean into the sink.
Slowly rotate the record CLOCKWISE 3 times.
2. Slowly rotate the record ANTI-CLOCKWISE 3 times.
3. Carefully remove the record from the washer without
touching the playing surface and place it into the
drying rack.
4. Any excess fluid will drop into the drying rack reservoir.
5. Wipe the record with the large microfibre cloth in a
CLOCKWISE motion.
6. Repeat with the small microfibre cloth to remove any
remaining debris (optional).
7. Once the record is completely dry, put it into an
archival quality SPINCARE® inner sleeve.
8. Repeat the process above for all the records you
want to clean.
