Hasbro Rocket Race is a tabletop game for two players, ages 8 and up. The game comes with a gameboard, four magnetic playing pieces, and a dual spinner.

The goal of the game is to travel to Pluto and return to your home planet first. To do this, players spin the spinner and move their rocket markers around the gameboard. Players can use the Super Speed Spinner to move faster, but they must use fuel to do so. If a player runs out of fuel, they must use the Drift Spinner.

Players can also land on planets to refuel their rockets. If a player lands on their opponent's planet, they cannot refuel. If a player spins an explosion, they lose all their fuel and must move their fuel marker to the explosion space.
