batterypacksoutofthereachofchildrenand
intheoriginalpackaginguntilyouarereadyto
usethem.
IV.MaintenanceandStorage
1.Maintaintheappliancewithcare—Keepitclean
andingoodrepairforbestperformanceandto
reducetheriskofinjury.Followtheinstructions
forlubricatingandchangingaccessories.Keep
handlesdry,clean,andfreefromoilandgrease.
2.Whenthebatterypackisnotinuse,keepit
awayfrommetalobjectssuchaspaperclips,
coins,keys,nails,andscrewsthatcanmakea
connectionfrom1terminaltoanother.Shorting
thebatteryterminalsmaycauseburnsorare.
3.Keepyourhandsandfeetawayfrommoving
parts.
4.Stoptheappliance,removethebatterypack
fromtheappliance,andwaitforallmovement
tostopbeforeadjusting,servicing,cleaning,or
storingtheappliance.
5.Checktheappliancefordamagedparts—Ifthere
aredamagedguardsorotherparts,determine
whetheritwilloperateproperly.Checkfor
misalignedandbindingmovingparts,broken

depressthevariable-speedtrigger,thenpressand
holdtheturboboostbuttonforthedesiredamountof
time(Figure4).
Toadjusttheairspeedasyoublow,usethe
variable-speedtrigger(Figure4).
Tomaintainthecurrentairspeed,engagethespeed
lock(Figure4).
ShuttingOfftheBlower
Toshutofftheblower,disengagethespeedlock(ifin

Important:Afterstoppingtheblower,donot
