Dear customer,

this damper will fit without modifications for Dallara F395 and F396.

However to achieve the specification given by Dallara for F397 the

stroke should be shortened by using the enclosed external spacer.

For the F397 front damper use the 13.5 mm spacer (part # 5162-02).

The existing 10-mm spacer (part # 5162-01) should be removed.

We recommend that you use our tool with part # 1772-01 or -02 for

loosening and tightening the 23 mm nut that locks the end eye.
