MFJ-73 Remote Controller

For the MFJ-434

The MFJ-73 Remote Controller allows remote message operation of a MFJ-434 Voice

Keyer. The unit has a remote Stop button and the Message buttons one through five.

Having the message control buttons closer to the operator cuts down on the amount of

movement involved in using the MFJ-434 in contests or other intensive operation. The

MFJ-73 is designed to plug into the remote jack on the back panel of a MFJ-434. The

supplied cable allows message operation up to three feet away from the MFJ-434 unit.

To install:

Turn off the power to the MFJ-434. Plug the IDC plug into the REMOTE port on the

back panel of the MFJ-434. Make sure the bare wire is on the right side of the plug.

Make sure that the plug mates with all the pins of the jack.
