2. Introduction
Forget pulling wires! Long Range Wireless HDMI has arrived. The ebode VLHD38 replaces
your current HDMI cable. The system, consisting of a transmitter and a receiver,
wirelessly streams uncompressed High-Definition videos from any HD video source
device to your HD TV (or projector), placed anywhere in your home. The operating range
is up to 200ft/60m line of sight. Includes USB Power cable which enables you to power
the receiver from a USB port* of your HDTV.
(* The USB port must have at least 1.5 amp. power output.)
3. Main Features
Working on the 5.8GHz Frequency (high-speed band)
HDMI Loop-Through
Built-in Omni antenna
With a transmission distance of 200ft/60m LOS
with less than 100ms latency
Power via USB or adapter
Please note: The VLHD38 cannot start-up a source device from standby over infrared if
the connection is not established. Connection can only be established once the source on
the remote location is powered to establish the HDMI handshake with the Transmitter.
You need to turn on the source (DVD, etc.) manually, which is linked to the VLHD38 to
get the infrared function to work. The main reason this slightly inconvenient handling is
required, is because there is a power-saving feature built in. Without this power-saving
feature the VLHD38 would 24/7 require a connection and therefore draws power and will
add additional cost to the home owner.

them closer and try it again.
5. Is the VLHD38 USB Power Cables are used, make sure there is
enough output power on the USB Power Port (1.5A Minimum).
1. Make sure the Power Adaptor or Power USB cable is correctly
connected and the voltage is 5V 1.5A or higher.
2. Make sure the power supply would not be interrupted.
1. Make sure video and audio signals can be transmitted to receiver
successfully.
2. If there are video and audio signal on output devices, please
check the indicating LED to see if something got wrong with it.
3. Make sure the device is working within the supported distance.
1. Ensure there is video on output devices.
2. Check if the receiver is correctly connected to display equipment
and there is no damage on joints and wires.
3. Make sure all devices are working on supported distance. Draw

1. Make sure the source equipment output support audio format.
2. Restart the transmitter and connect it again.
3. Make sure there is no disturbance from the same frequency
(4.95.9GHz) within 50cm (Wi-Fi modem, microwave etc.)
1.Ensure the distance between transmitter and receiver doesn’t
exceed supported distance. If it does, make them closer and try
it again.
2.Check if source device has been added on display equipment.
If it has, delete it and make registration again.
1 Ensure the working distance doesn’t exceed supported distance.
If it does, make them closer and try it again.
2 Make sure source devices have been registered every time after
software update.
3 Ensure source devices and display devices have been registered.
4 If failure occurs again, delete all registered information and try
again.
5 When using the USB Power cables, make sure that the USB port
delivers sufficient Power. A minimum of 5V 1.5 Amp is required
to power the VLHD38. Please refer to the USB output device
manual to find out how much power the USB port can deliver.
Please also note that if a port delivers 1.5 Amp, and the USB port
is shared (example 3 ports), the output can be lower than 1.5
Amp when a second and/or third USB device is connected. We
recommend to test with the included Power adapters first. After a
successful connection, switch to USB Power cables (Receiver side
first) and retry.
