assemble this Brinkmann Side Island:

• Screwdrivers (Included)

(Proof of purchase will be required.)

Inspect contents of the box to ensure all

parts are included and undamaged.

ASSEMBLY STEPS

Choose a good, cleared assembly

area and get a friend to help you

put your side island together.

Step 1

Attach the tray assembly to the

base stand by using four

M6 x 12mm bolts. Make sure the

sliding tray faces forward.

Step 2

Slide the two tray brackets into

the slots which are located at

the tray slide.

PARTS CARD CONTENTS

Make sure you have all items listed under PARTS LIST and PARTS CARD CONTENTS before

you begin the installation process. Your Parts Card will include:

Step 3

Attach the base assembly to the

side island base. Insert four

M6 x 12mm bolts halfway into the

base panel. Place base assembly

over bolts and slide backward, then

tighten securely.

Step 4

Attach the top bar support bracket

to the frame using two M6 x 12mm

bolts, then tighten securely.

Step 5

Insert the four full threaded

studs into the bottom of

the granite top.

Step 6

With a help of a friend, place the

granite top onto the side island

base. Insert the threaded studs

through the rubber rings which are

located on the top of the frame and

fasten using four M8 nuts

and washers onto

the threaded studs.

(Hand tighten only)

Step 7

Insert hinge pin in bottom of

door into hole at the bottom of

the frame. Depress spring pin

located on top edge of door

and slide door until spring pin

locks into hole in door frame.

Step 8

Insert two M6 x 12mm bolts

halfway into the each

door handle stand.

Step 9

Insert the handle bolts in the

door key holes and slide

down. Then tighten securely.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

• To protect granite countertops against stains and discoloration, use a high quality

penetrating sealant made specifically for granite. The sealant should be applied

periodically throughout the year.

• For standard maintenance on granite countertops, wipe with warm water or mild soapy

water. Cleaners made specifically for cleaning granite may be used as necessary. Do

not use vinegar, cleaners that contain acid, abrasive cleaners, or furniture polish. We

suggest the following routine care:

• Clean up spills immediately;

• Dust with an untreated cloth;

• Use coasters;

• Keep planters off the surface;

• Always keep covered when outdoors or not in use.

• For standard maintenance on fiberglass walls, wipe with warm water or mild soapy

water. Do not use vinegar, cleaners that contain acid, abrasive cleaners, or furniture

polish. Keep covered when not in use.

For 1-year from date of purchase, The Brinkmann Corporation warrants the Charmglow

Side Island against defects due to workmanship

or materials to the original purchaser. The Brinkmann Corporation’s obligations under this warranty are limited to the following guidelines:

• This warranty does not cover side islands that have been altered or damaged due to: normal wear, rust, abuse, improper

maintenance, improper use, disassembly of parts and/or attempted repair by anyone other than an authorized employee of The

Brinkmann Corporation.

• This warranty does not cover surface scratches, rust or heat damage to the finish, which is considered normal wear.

• The Brinkmann Corporation may elect to repair or replace damaged units covered by the terms of this warranty.

• This warranty extends to the original purchaser only and is not transferable or assignable to subsequent purchasers.

The Brinkmann Corporation requires reasonable proof of purchase. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you retain your sales receipt

or invoice. To obtain replacement parts for your Charmglow

Side Island under the terms of this warranty, please call Customer Service

Department at 800-527-0717. A receipt will be required. The Brinkmann Corporation will not be responsible for any side islands

forwarded to us without prior authorization.

EXCEPT AS ABOVE STATED, THE BRINKMANN CORPORATION MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY.

THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE

LIMITED IN DURATION TO 1-YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW
