Customers using the Roland R-1
The CD-2 is compatible with the R-1
Songs recorded by the R-1 can be turned into a music CD using the CD-2.
* However, certain conditions must be met in order for a song recorded on the R-1 to be handled by the
CD-2. For details, refer to the section below entitled “R-1 songs that can be handled on the CD-2.”

Songs recorded on the R-1 that meet the following conditions can be handled on the CD-2.
Record Mode must be “WAV 16 bit” (16 bit WAV file).
Track title must not contain “~” (tilde) or double-byte characters (e.g., Japanese).
Track length must be longer than four seconds.
Track (file) must be located in the root directory of the CompactFlash card.
* The CD-2 is able to display and play back a maximum of 99 tracks.
