instruction manual must be supplied with it.

or any other improper use or mishandling.
Do not use this appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way, or if the supply cord is
damaged.

GENERAL AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY
When using electric appliances always observe safety regulations where applicable to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Supply Cord and Plug
Always unplug from mains supply when not in use. Do not abuse or damage the supply cord or
plug. Do not allow the supply cord to touch hot surfaces or allow it to hang over the edge of
any table or countertop. If the supply cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Earth Safety
This appliance must be earthed. Only connect to a suitably earthed 220-240V ~ 50Hz supply
socket.
Supervision
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Water
Do not immerse appliance or supply cord in water. Do not use with wet hands or use in damp
situations.
Use and Environment
Do not use outdoors. Do not use directly below a socket outlet. This appliance is not intended
to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system. This
appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and is not suitable for commercial or
industrial use. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use. Only use the
appliance on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
Burns Risk
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. Do not
touch hot surfaces. Extreme caution must be taken when moving hot food or liquid. Make sure
that the appliance is switched off, unplugged and sufficiently cooled before cleaning or storage.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs and wear oven gloves.
Damaged or Dropped
Always inspect your appliance before use. Check parts are correctly attached. Do not use this
appliance if it has been damaged, dropped, left outdoors or dropped in water. Return it to an
authorised service dealer for examination and repair.
Ventilation
Allow a space of at least 15cm around the exterior of the appliance to ensure adequate
ventilation. Never cover or obstruct any ventilation opening.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using this appliance for the first time, wipe the Grill Plates with a damp cloth to remove
all dust. Wash the Grill Plates in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.
OPERATION
1. Place the halogen grill on a stable bench top or surface, and turn the temperature control
knob to the ‘OFF’ position. Put the large Grill Plate on the base of main unit, and then put
the small Grill Plate in the remaining space.( As shown in figure 2)

2. Put the power cord connector into the inlet behind the product , and plug the power cord
plug into the wall outlet.(make sure the electricity voltage is 220-240V 50Hz Supply) (As
shown in figure 3)

3. Turn the temperature control knob to the appropriate setting, then Halogen tube will start
heating and the Grill will start to work (As shown in figure 4)

4. Preheat the product for about 5 minutes, place the food on the Grill Plate, While grilling you
can lift up or push down the lid to adjust the temperature of grill according to your
requirements. ( As shown in figure 5)
Use Caution when raising and lowering the Grill as the lamp is hot and if raised or
lowered quickly or with force could lead to damaging the unit.
For fastest cooking: turn the temperature control knob to the highest setting and push down
the lid to the lowest setting.
5. After you have finished cooking, turn the temperature control knob to “OFF’ position, and
unplug the power cord from the power socket.
WarningPlease don’t touch the heated Grill Plate after cooking. Caution hot!

MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance of your appliance will keep it safe and in proper operational order.
Before Cleaning
When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply and
allow it to cool before handling.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth and dry with a dry towel.
CAUTION To prevent damage to the appliance do not use harsh solvents, alkaline cleaning
agents, abrasive cleansers or scouring agents of any kind when cleaning. Use a soft cloth and a
mild detergent.
1. Take the Large and small Grill Plate out from the Halogen Grill, and clean with a soft
sponge, do not use steel wire or brushes to scrub and avoid damage to the non-stick
coating of surface.
2. Take the oil box from the drip tray, pour out the waste oil and clean it with soapy water.
3. Do not rinse appliance with water or submerse in water to clean.
4. The dirt on surface of inlet/exhaust vent can be cleaned with a cotton bud. If there is any oil
marks, you can use a toothbrush to clean it carefully with neutral cleaners.
Do not immerse in water.
If the appliance is for any reason immersed in water, return it to the nearest authorised service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment. To avoid the risk of short-circuit; Do not connect
to a power supply until this is done.
Damage Check
Always check that the appliance is in good working order and that any safety guards and
removable parts are secure. Check the power supply cord and plug regularly for cuts or
damage.
Store in a Safe Place
When not in use store your appliance and all its accessories and instruction manual in a safe
and dry place.
